Fredo lived well into his 90's before being killed in a fluke terrorist bombing. Since then music has gradually faded away over time. Today we recognize this song as both the greatest in human history, and the most important. 5 years before his death Fredo was recorded saying that "even as I worked on new music, and rotted away in prison, I knew we would never reach that level again, it is just impossible, it simply will never be done." The last song released in the US was in 2071. On the grave of Former President Donald Trump is engraved the immortal word of Fredo and DIN "put it through a wood chipper... and bring some ku$h?".

By 2053 opinions had changed significantly, and on Dec 3. The Meme Acts (as they were collectively called) were repealed. Once pardoned by President Pepe O'Reilly-Clinton, Fredo rejoined DIN for one last concert. Unfortunately, DIN died after a heart attack shortly before the show. It was later discovered that he had slowly been committing suicide since adolescence by eating nothing but peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Unfortunately, he was arrested for class 5 memery, and sentenced to three life terms. The supreme court had found that his song "County Music" was in violation of section 5.3 of the Second Anti-Pepes Act, which stated that "music all-together wretched, to point of comedy, is thus to be considered a meme, regardless of its genre, and likewise punishable under all the conditions thereof." DIN was never caught.

Historians have often cited the 2015 release of the hit single "put it through a wood chipper and bring some KU$H" as the high point of human musical art. The unmatched quality this song, a product of the combined musical genius of Old Time Fredo, and The Notorious D.I.N, successfully raised societies expectations for musical art to unattainable levels. Now jaded to standard music, the majority of those exposed gradually lost all interest In music over a period of about five years. In 2017, Fredo and Din regrouped to produce the revolutionary album Memedream, launching the new genre of music known as Memerwave into the public eye. This was around the same time as the release of new research revealing the addictive qualities of said genre.
