Happy And Contented Music Pack Sampler

After hearing this charming and haunting tune just once, I couldn't forget about it. Since my Polish language skills are non-existent and I was afraid to mangle the words in sung form, I made a VERY basic keyboard version. One English title of this song is "Oh Little Star That Shone So Bright"...but if any kindly Polish listeners can advise me on a more accurate suggestion, feel free to comment!

I decided to let my freak flag fly...but just a little bit for starters. This is exactly what the title says it is: a short piano sketch which I then simply reversed the sound on (no other instruments, filters, or added effects).

Another vocal relic from who-knows-when (there do seem to be a few of those bumping around). At one time, I was so taken with the Mediaeval Baebes' rendition of this Elizabethan poem that I went ahead and made my own. Yes, I know it would sound better with some FX, but my "new" computer still refuses to open almost all of my audio programs. I couldn't think of instrumentation that would complement the tune without taking away from the vocal line, so it never got a full arrangement. I think of this one as "neo-Elizabethan"...

I noticed that there weren't really any harp solo arrangements yet, so I went for it. Yes, I know it's a bit simple. If I had more time, I would have tried a few more verses/elaborations or something, but alas, I could only devote a couple of hours to this (yes, hours...I never claimed to be quick :-)). I added the little bit at the beginning because it occurred to me that bards might not always constantly have their instruments 100% tuned (too drunk/tired, instruments in need of repair, not enough time, etc), so the first little flourish would be their version of a sound check and/or a way to get everyone's attention before the song started up. In the spirit of bardic music, this is NOT meant to be a verbatim transcription. There are slight differences in rhythm and even melody from other written versions I've seen (because let's face it, this tune has a lot of wiggle room in that way). Skyrim "Age Of Oppression" Harp Solo Instrumental Arrangement (cover, sort of)

In case you didn't know, this is a huge feat for someone who isn't a DJ, rapper, or habitual singer. Soundclouders can be awesome!

This time, I did everything by ear and imagination since there are basically no arrangements out there right now (except for some TAB if you *really* hunt around). Man oh man, I won't be repeating that experience anytime soon (I'm embarrassed to admit how many hours I put into this fairly simple arrangement!). I started out with a single instrument, but there were just too many notes for one person to realistically play, so it became a duet - sort of. Generated with software.
