I'm Vampin

Donta Roberts, also known as Quillz was born and raised in Wilmington, DE. Eastside of Wilmington is where it all started; and from there, continuously moved around the city living most his life over the northside of Wilmington. Struggled allot growing up. His father wasn't in his life much and his mother abused drugs badly. As he got older, he played a lot of sports and learned how to play the trumpet. He always did my own thing, and never got into the streets. The youngest of three brothers, and all live in separate homes. He had it rough learning things on my own. He didn't start rapping ‘til he was about 15. He started because he knew his older brothers were doing it and hoped it could impress and bring them closer. Around high school, he began loving making music for his self. Dropped his 1st mixtape his junior year of high school, worked w/ a number of artists and producers around Wilmington as well. Hoping w/ music he'd be given a chance to be heard by most.  He understands the difference among us all, is how we see life. No two people shouldn't, nor can see things exactly the same way. Whatever is on his mind or going on in his life and the world, is what he writes about. Writing off emotions has developed his love for making music. There's no better enjoyment than making a song that people can feel that excites him more.
