Now sat on a great ensemble of productions found on Death Proof Recordings and Lot49, and taking plaudits from the likes of Meat Katie, Marco Bailey, The Dolphins, Jesse Voorn or The Micronauts, The Omega Men deliver their first EP proper, a double header of epic 4/4 proportions 'Girls Noize' & 'Electric Kool Aid'.

'Girls Noize' kicks off the EP in style, the guys typically thunderous & manic drumline sits amongst some of the finest synth work we’ve heard in a long time. Swaying emotive melodies drop and flow through breakdowns and builds whils 'Electric Kool Aid' then ventures into the darker enclaves of The Omega Men’s lair, another well-structured percussive element gets disjointed by thunderous claps and snares, smacking you up the face as it takes hold. And out come the sirens, like wailing banshees they scream at you rising to a raucous & overwhelming breakdown.

But it doesn’t stop there, as you know we like to pull out all the stops on the remix package and this one is up there with the best yet.

Captain Magic (Lot49, Benefit), better known as Vandal’s deviant 4/4 alter-ego, takes on ‘Electric Kool Aid’ for an Electro/Techno pounder.

Johan Soh (Sound Of Habib, Underwater) plies his extensive knowledge to ‘Girls Noize’ which results in a melodic broken tech masterpiece.

zAm'X (Expressillon, Minimalminuts) may be new to some ears, but this Frenchman is getting us extremely excited at Death Proof towers: his remix takes ‘Girls Noize’ to a whole different orgasmic level! He’s made a Tech House track that will damage any dance floor it should be set upon, keeping a frenetic energy throughout!

The Omega Men, Paul Blandford & Dominic Mayer have a penchant for many underground sounds, but all with that defining character, tech!  Following the path layed by many of the elite pioneers, they're aiming to bring an original sound that follows the same intentions, to make people move... uncontrollably.

Having blown into the scene with their 1st release 'Gus's Pickles', a broken minimalistic roller, on Meat Katie & Dylan Rhymes' label Lot 49 'New Lot Compilation', it would seem the label realised they had something to offer and gave them the chance to remix one of their forthcoming singles, in the shape of the legendary Lee Coombs' 'Punji'.  The remix, a burgeoning techno beast, did amazingly, holding it's own in the Beatport chart top 50 for some time. 

Now at home on their parent label http://soundcloud.com/death-proof-recordings, the intentions are to carry on producing monstrous, techno tech-house and electronica that'll leave the dancefloor baying for more.
