I hadn't logged into this soundcloud account for about 6 months and decided to have a little look on here this morning, I never would have guessed that i'd be nearly at 10,000 plays in total! It made me very pleased but also guilty that i hadn't done more with this idea, so i've decided to move onto The Wind Waker, and i'm planning to orchestrate a lot more of the music from this game over the next couple of months. Thank you all so much for listening and I'm sorry it took me half a year to notice! Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys this one!

Dragon Roost Island

i decided to start making orchestral versions of some zelda songs and thought i'd start with this! i would like to add that i will be using midi virtually throughout all of the songs, and adapted orchestra's will be used as opposed to a standard 24 piece orchestra.

Song of Healing

With this song, as it is a fairly short song anyway, i didn't have many original parts to build upon, so i have tried to harmonise the original melody and add my own chordal accompaniment in the brass and woodwind sections, and i think it was rather successful, but i'm open to any feedback and i encourage any criticism! 

The Song Of Time

One of my favourite pieces of game music ever, from my favourite game ever, absolutely loved making this!
I tried to mingle a few different cultures in with this one as I think the japanese guitars and flutes work brilliantly with the austrian accordion at the start, and i tried to create my own harmonies for the strings and choir parts which i think work pretty well, let me know what you think!



Song Of Storms

Beautiful piece of music, i didn't change too much with this one, as i didn't want to spoil the perfect melody, just added a few harmonizing melodies and backing chords :)

Zelda's Lullaby

Few people asked me to do this one, so i did :) tried to make it all lazy and cow-like

Lon Lon Ranch (Epona's Song)

Beautiful piece of music, i really enjoyed making this! I went for a sort of huge battle style with it as the main motif is just built to be epic! also i decided to do it 4/4 instead of 3/4 because i think it sounds like it has more momentum and power that way :)


Bolero Of Fire

i find it strange that the most annoying temple in any game ever has one of the best warp songs haha ahh well :)

The Serenade Of Water

The ending sucks balls but i  couldn't get it to sound right with chords behind it so yeah :)

Requiem Of Spirit

My Brother challenged me to recreate this song, spent a while trying to get the creepy strings right but i think i git there in the end!

Forest Temple

Not uploaded anything in a while, so i thought i'd put up a rough version of the twinrova theme. 

The spirit temple is the best.
