Dry Riser was originally formed by a group of Bristol University students in 1975 (so beware of later imitations!). For three years they shocked/amazed/bemused the inhabitants of the Bristol area with their unique mix of prog, rock and punk. Sadly, none of the major labels had the foresight to sign them so they went their own ways in 1978. But they stayed in touch and as they reached the ripe old age of 50 they decided (like most ageing rockers) to reform and now they play occasional one-off gigs and festivals. Three of the original Dry Riser members, Nigel (bass/vocals), Paul (keyboards) and Thom (guitars and Kaossilation) are ably assisted by the young Mr. Jake Wilson on drums. They've also been back in the studio to record new versions of some of their original material.
