The Orphanage Committee is the solo project of Orphan S.C. Wallace, residing in Sint-Niklaas (Hellgium). After beginning his musical journey by dabbling in techno & electro music, wherein he had been releasing a steady amount of digital EP releases, after a few years he quickly turned to the more experimental side of music, his main inspiration being the forgotten experimental DIY-scene of the industrial eighties. He found his musical companion through the label EE Tapes from the same hometown Sint-Niklaas, and has been consistently putting out music through the label. He has currently 2 vinyl and 3 CD releases under his belt. His abstract works are never without a defined concept; religion, nature, time, good and evil, … His vinyl releases can be classified as experimental, ambient, field recording, drone, noise, post-industrial.

Haar composities bevinden zich op het snijvlak van moderne elektronische muziek en noise, waarin ze intuïtieve structuren en gelaagde texturen verkent. Door een combinatie van analoge en digitale technieken creëert ze een sonische wereld die zowel abstract als emotioneel geladen is.Geïnspireerd door onder andere minimalistische compositietechnieken, industriële soundscapes en de fysieke eigenschappen van geluid, onderzoekt Oblomov de grenzen tussen chaos en orde, ruis en melodie, waarin improvisatie en ruimtelijke interactie een belangrijke rol spelen.

Michiel De Malsche: Michiel De Malsche is a Belgium based composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist and sound designer. He composes/produces own work and soundtracks for contemporary dance, theatre, films, documentaries and is active as a studio musician, record producer, orchestrator, arranger, dj & teacher. 
Michiel has released music on Meakusma Records, One Instrument Records, Rotkat Records and Deep Medi Records, among others. He composed, arranged and/or produced music for artists such as The Brussels Philharmonic, Sturm Und Klang, Fabrizio Cassol, Emanon Ensemble, Mala, A Taste of Struggle, I solisti del Vento, Akala, Adilia Yip, Roland & Florian Peelman, Thelema Trio, Hantrax, Manou Gallo, Rudeboy, Grazzhoppa, The Ghent Conservatory Symphonic Orchestra & Symphonic Band and many others.

they were fresh ! super-talented
& idm'ish minded & made everything on computer (hello buzz!)
 
once i asked them hey ! can u do it live
they said: naaah ! we lost all source sequencer tracks, or something like: 'we can't find them', but we have everything on mp3 though & i was like WUT ???? t faq ! u have the
most intricate & genius delicate songs only on seriously reduced digital quality ????!!!
