The dust had settled. The mad scramble for The Stargazer's remains was over. Mettaton had reached it first, and the energy began to permeate his entire body. In a dramatic flash, all the contestants could see was white... And then, a star-shaped figure glowing pink revealed itself. The Showstopper was born.

The Showstopper allowed his former fellow contestants to return home, as he had grown bored of them. But with The Stargazer's power, he took new contestants from across the multiverse, hosting tournament after tournament. He broadcasted them far and wide, attaining much greater fame then he ever had in the Underground. 

Each time, The Showstopper would emerge victorious, beating whoever managed to make it to grand finals. And he was happy.
