Joint Custody 2014 For the Freqs

Chang has never constituted to one sound. He encompasses a plethora of house music with elements of disco, soul, electro, techno, classics, and indie rock. Born in Manhattan, NY. Raised in NY and Miami, FL. He has sought out such diverse obscure sounds that he excites and entices his fans with the unknown & unexpected on the dancefloor. Most notable residency was at Simons & Soul House from 1994-2000 where he opened for many djs like Tiny Humphries, Doc Martin, Garth, John Digweed, Terry Farley & Heller, Dubtribe, Danny Tenaglia, Mark Farina, Marques Wyatt, Terry Francis, and many more! His ventures have surpassed the borders of the USA. Chang’s talents brought him to Bahrain, Austria, Lebanon, Poland, Jamaica, Slovakia, to the legendary Cocoon Club in Frankfurt, Germany.

His free spirit has enabled him to go beyond music adventuring to collaborate music with video. That is how he became a pioneer vj also in his dj sets! San Francisco is where he had his first public access tv show, House Nation. It was based on interviews with local house/dance music artists, djs, nights, and music videos.

Chang was also present at many Sundance Film Festivals in the past. He was the DJ for New Line Cinema, and Miramax’s Sundance Film Festival events. He spun at the official parties for Hedwig & The Angry Inch & Human Traffic..

He is also involved with Project Ahimsa, a charity that spreads musical instruments to underprivileged youth around the globe. Notably through his contribution on the Global Lingo CD, through his remix in the project.

Currently he is 2012's Mr. X for The Red Bull Music Academy’s West region of Florida. He is also one of the co-founders/volunteer producers for the Street Music Workshop at The Moses House Non-Profit.
