Death Before Dishonor

	Born in Northeast Washington DC, The Pinnakal has emerged as one of the fastest rising musical talents in quite some time.  His style is heavily influenced by heartfelt artists and political/social activists which reflects heavily in his music.  Growing up in Washington DC, The Pinnakal was inspired by the Gogo music scene which led to him being a part of various bands throughout the city.  He began writing raps at the age of 9 and by age 15 was already recording demo tapes with long time friend and producer Godfather.  His early songs were following the gangster rap trend of the time, but in high school that changed when he attended a high school far from home and experienced heavy racism and police brutality.  These experiences would forever change his music and style from blending in with the gangster rap trend, to speaking from experiences and being more socially conscious in his music. 
	By 2005, while playing in his last Gogo band, he befriended producer Invincible Beats which transformed his sound into what it is today.  Over the years he has collaborated and performed with many talents in Washington DC such as Blizzy Bambu of 3DB, LJ aka Syvelle Story of the Backyard Band and rnb group Atlantic Starr, Roc Mikey of UCB, LX, Prima, and AP the Prince. In addition to rap music, he is also a multi genre song writer and producer.  His goal is to cross genres, create a new sound and utilize his platform to help other artists voices to be heard and give back to the community in various ways as opposed to being careless to the community.
