Australian producer Isaac Tichauer drops two infectious house tracks on the burgeoning and mysterious LOFT Records imprint.

Back in 2013 Tichauer signed to French Express, home to Jonas Rathsman, Moon Boots and label owner Perseus, where he dropped his lauded ‘Devotion’ LP – a fact made all the more inspiring knowing that the album is a first effort from a producer born completely deaf and now lives with just one working ear. Now residing in London, Tichauer joins the LOFT Records roster alongside the likes of Ejeca, Citizen and Dorsia for the label’s third release.

THE PLOTmusic stands for versatility – this is especially noticeable in our new release. ' Know where you come from, to go where you want to' – that's the title of the new EP of Valencia-based artist Camilo Sanjuán. In this record so many musical influences unite that it's impossible to put it into one genre – tech house, progressive, tribal, deep … in any case, an artful mixture.
'Poleal' starts with a shaker loop which is accompanied by striking, expressive lead sounds which are joined by driving ride sounds. In this track a lot of space is created where the sounds can swirl around whereby the mood is strengthened by thrilling claps. 'Arahuita' starts with a catchy bass and in the first break a markable organ-like playful synth sound is added. All sounds seem to randomly fly around, but they gather into a harmonious ensemble, because they complement each other. The remix by Mattia pompeo turns the bass of the original into an acid-sounding line and adds a powerful snare and a melancholic arp sound, which turns the mood a little darker, but keeps the track still driving forward. 'Teneguía' first starts reserved before in the break the filter is untwisted and sounds are screaming. A colourful carpet of sound is unfolded, which will for sure put a smile on everyone's face who is in love with classy analogue synths. In their remix, Matchy & Bott add a little more housy touch to the track. They carefully pick up each sound particle and merge them into a new sound dress without losing the playfulness of the original.

Steyoyoke is proud to present the 7th edition of our Family Affair series, featuring four outstanding remixes from Soul Button, Nick Devon, JOBE and Clawz SG.

Opening the collection is Soul Button’s take on “Orcus”. Its breathtaking sounds create anticipation of an unfaithful atmosphere, absorbing the mind and drawing images of an army setting on an epic mission. 

Nick Devon’s reconstruction of “Indra” is dark and powerful. Its intensity and domination evokes feelings of continuous abduction to the sound of repetitive synths. 

Clawz SG adds his signature touch to Devon’s “Symbiose”. Determined rhythm, delicate melodies and soft kicks capture an illusionary dream of retaliating sounds that intertwines and drift into climactic synths.

Last, but not the least is JOBE’s version of “Constellations”. Infinite sparks of sound over the baseline holds the listener captive in a trance while pleasant melodies nurse the consciousness into the vast universe.

We get sent a lot of music from Antoine. Prolific doesnt even cover it. No sooner had he dropped an artist album earlier in the summer for his own Time Has Changed imprint, than 3 weeks later, he sent us another album's worth of material, all of the highest quality. Our only problem was picking out our 3 favourites. Hard work or hardly working? You decide ;)

The talented Hungarian producer Justrice is the one who brings you the originals of the eight EP of Infinite Depth. Three pretty minimal and dark tracks with strange sounds and an eye for detail. For the remix, the title track ‘Relic’ got an obscure techno touch of Altman.

The first track of the EP is called ‘Camouflage’. In this track the strange sounds mentioned before are already obviously present. It’s a high tension track which works towards one moment. At this moment the tension has risen till its highest point and immediate falls down unexpectedly, creating an incomprehensible flash.
