Released on our sub-label Supérieur in 2007. Both original and remix were huge hits at this time. Furthermore the Kollektiv Turmstrasse remix was one of the boys first contributions to Connaisseur...the rest is history!

Pele (https://soundcloud.com/pele) is our new maestro of sticky tunes. Once you have heard one of his tracks, the melody won’t get out of your head. Pele lives in the countryside surrounding the picturesque Bavarian town of Rosenheim, the city where the famous Electronica act Funkstörung also comes from. Apart from his producer activities - he has already released on the label Dipolder and will contribute a track for our upcoming compilation “Grand Cru 2007” - he is an active DJ is the Bavarian and Austrian area, focused on expanding his sphere of action. And of course we know he will quickly achieve his goal.

“Childhood’s End” is a massively bouncing Detroit-influenced tune with a dominating chord theme you will not forget. This track has a story: When we received the first version almost one year ago, we already knew this could be a big one, because of the wonderful chord theme. However, we weren’t completely convinced by the mix down. The improvement of this tune became a mental trip for Pele. By producing his final version, he acquired so many skills, that with this track he has left his fledging stages – which is why this production is called Childhood’s End.

Kollektiv Turmstrasse’s (https://soundcloud.com/kollektivturmstrasse) remix is - just like what we are used to by these two friendly northerners - melodic, emotional and massively driving. In Germany, they themselves and their label “Musik gewinnt Freunde”, already have cult status, because of their fantastic music, impressive live sets and charming modesty. As new members of the Connaisseur family, they introduce themselves with this brilliant remix, before they hit the dancefloors with their contributing track on our compilation and their upcoming release on Connaisseur this summer.

Behind the old country house lay a field full of intrigue and mystery. Buried deep at the bottom of Burton's Garden lay an old chest, many had rumoured that it led to another dimension, a portal of sorts, but who actually knew? It may well be poppycock of course, or it may in fact be something quite magical and strange. Surrounded by pretty flowers it lay unopened, waiting for the right character to come along and enter the next world. The portal awaited, Burton was watching. 

Up next on Night Noise is an exciting release which sees Sau Poler feature on remix duties. He delivers a hypnotic and beautiful re-imagined version of "Burton's Garden".

Following releases on BluFin, My Favourite Freaks and our latest The Plot Music V.A. sampler “The Variety of the Mind”, we are really happy to welcome back fran&co. He is delivering a full EP including a collaboration track with Baluh and two more originals. Furthermore, the EP is featuring two remixes by the likes of Sascha Kloeber and DASO. A true proof that “Music in the soul can be heard by the universe”.
Diptrain starts with a hypnotic sequence and rimshots. Right from the beginning the track builds tension and is creating a groovy and melancholic vibe. Everything builds up more and more until a melodic break, featuring the very own vocals of Baluh, comes in. Finally, all elements join in together and create a harmonic fusion of sounds.
Track number two, Lydia, is more enlivened with an impressive percussion arrangement, as well as catchy and driving brass sounds. Lydia is a powerful organic piece of music, pure peak time material.
The third track is called Hypnotic. The name choice is fitting perfectly, since it is a very smooth and atmospheric tune with beautiful harmonies. Mallets and vocal snippets are flying around.
Sascha Kloeber created a wonderful remix of Lydia. With a groovy bass line he is adding a completely new drive to the original track. After the break he picks up the characteristic brass sounds in order to create more tension.
Finally, DASO delivers a very deep and techy remix of Diptrain, which really carries you away while listening. He is keeping the melancholic mood of the original track, while add-ing more some true Berlin Techno flavour.
