Fur Coat are set celebrate Christmas with their new 4-track Katarsis EP, dropping December 25th via Last Night On Earth.

The Barcelona-based Venezuelans have been blazing a trail across the 4/4 scene since first signing to Crosstown Rebels in 2011, also clocking releases for Get Physical, My Favourite Robot and Jamie Jones' Hot Creations imprint.
Fur Coat apply trance-like propulsion to each track on the EP, which is finished by our Debut Transmission 'Kataris'. The title-track offers a sweltering journey through tech house, driven by a thumping four-to-the-floor kick and coated in an acidic skin. 

"The names do relate to a feeling that we think each track transmit or relates," say Fur Coat. "As with all of our productions they are part of an experimentation process and the logical evolution of our music, however always keeping a distinct signature sound on what we do."

Lee Van Dowski and Sabb have worked together in the studio and have delivered three amazing tracks. Strong beats, mental melodies, solid grooves, beautiful vocals... 'Condor 1' is all about an arpeggiated bassline, electric leads and old school hi-hats. In a few words, a techno anthem. 'Destinasia' is a melodic trip with two different versions: one with smooth vocals from Forrest and a dub mix for introspective Dj-sets. This Condor 1 EP is a complete and sophisticated release, only for trendsetter technoheads. Are you one of them?

Daniele Di Martino has a simple and direct approach to club music and is well known for his impelling mixture of Deep House and Techno. His personal experience is mirrored in his music and thus enables his audience to be part of his ongoing journey as a musician. Although a Berliner by choice, he has also managed to make a name for himself beyond the capital’s boundaries.

Di Martino’s EP “OUCHH” (2016) as well as the mix “Zabak” (2015) are clear indicators for his passion for a deep and straightforward sound. The producer, DJ, and label owner is strongly involved in the Deep House movement. However, that does not mean that he is one to shy away from Techno elements to create a versatile sound that makes you want to dance. Nevertheless, especially the melodic influences and vocals that are added to the mix provide Di Martino’s music with a catchy easiness and light playfulness.

Born and raised near Munich, he started playing the cello at the age of four, devoted his teenage years to Hip Hop, and finally fell in love with electronic music. Highlights of his ongoing musical evolution so far have been releases on labels such as Toolroom Records and Armada Music. Di Martino continues keeping an open mind towards various musical styles which is evident in his work as a DJ as well as a producer. In 2013, the trained boatbuilder moved to Berlin after spending one and a half years in London. Germany’s capital did not only mark the start of Di Martino’s producing career but also became the home of his label MONO.NOISE which was founded in 2017. The label features Di Martino with his contemporary, straightforward, and deep sound as well as artists from his creative network.

Clash Lion boss Shall Ocin drops a trio of tracks to mark his debut on Truesoul.

In recent years the Argentinean-born, Barcelona-based artist has established a fine pedigree, releasing on quality labels such as Ellum, Hotflush and his own Clash Lion imprint. What makes Ocin’s productions distinct is his utilisation of modular synths, analogue rhythmboxes and custom-made effects, resulting in an organic and altogether explorative take on techno.

The title track ‘Isolate’ is a thick brew of blistering acid and analogue grooves ripe for the peak-time that shows of Ocin’s flair for rhythmically engrossing arrangements. ‘Believe’ is a deliciously disorientating exploration into the deep, as eerie effects and vocals dip in and out of the multi-dimensional cut. The beguiling ‘Archaea’ rounds things out on the melodic tip, with lashings of deep atmospheric layers and synth stabs throughout.

Premiere: Henri Bergmann - Solar [VISHN]

2010 was the last time we heard an original production from André Winter and the same year that Ideal Audio played home to his brace of hits "Magma" and "Gallopper." Today the studio genius returns with his latest double header, "Blackmail" and "White Lie."

Having released under the aliases of Motion Unit and D-Saw, produced together with and for Oliver Huntemann, Xenia Beliayeva, etc, and worked on remixes for the likes of the Chemical Brothers, Underworld, Extrawelt...

January 2009 saw André Winter release his first solo single on Ideal. "Trauma" was an instant success and after a break to produce Oliver Huntemann's third studio album, André returned with his track "Helene" on Terence Fixmer's From Jupiter label and "Dogma" and "Magma" here again at Ideal. 2010 saw his double release on the label and since that time he has been applying his studio expertise to the music of others.

It has been a while, but boy are we glad to have him back and in better form than ever. "Blackmail" with its haunting and scything riffs, huge atmospheric breaks and slow-groove bassline, make for a sinister and yet funky techno workout. "White Lies" rolls with the snare and huge bass melody. Again André brings the funk, heightened further as the synth chords build and filter before the snare snaps back. These may be from Winter but both are set to be summer smashes!
