Web of Wisdom

In this message, Pastor Dami taught on the need for the believer to be established in the faith beyond the goodies we benefit from the Father - the products of our faith. He emphasized the importance of the balance teaching of the pillars of our faith, especially on the essence of the trials and tribulations that a believer encounters. 

We saw how we are always so particular about the products of our faith and these products and privileges may drive a wedge between us and God's innermost desires for our lives, but there is the trial of our faith which is not supposed to give you things, rather is made a crucial part of the believer's 'walk-tail' to make him complete, wanting nothing on the external to validate what Christ had perfected in him.

In sum, the trial of our faith works in us patience, and this patience makes us complete and entire, full of character; this is when the power shows up, this is what gives the believer his 'KAPÁ' (capacity), because now he understands that the trials and adversity did not come to destroy him, rather they come to reveal him to and put him in the centre of God's promises. Oh the joy!!!

Fr. Anselm Ramelow is a Catholic priest in the Order of Preachers. He is professor of philosophy at the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology in Berkeley and currently the chair of the philosophy department. He obtained his doctorate under Robert Spaemann in Munich on Leibniz and the Spanish Jesuits (Gott, Freiheit, Weltenwahl, 1997) and did theological work on George Lindbeck and the question of a Thomist philosophy and theology of language (Beyond Modernism? - George Lindbeck and the Linguistic Turn in Theology, 2005). He contributed articles to the Historisches Wörterbuch der Philosophy and essays on topics at the intersection of philosophy and theology, as well as a translation and commentary on part of Aquinas’ De veritate. He continues to work on questions of free will, philosophy of religion (miracles, existence and nature of God) and philosophical aesthetics.

The crux of today’s word was centered on the wisdom of God, where pastor Dami described God as God is a body of knowledge that governs the certainty of outcomes in the world.— and this translates to every and different areas of life.
The wisdom of God is an intangible force that produces tangible results.
We learnt that, as believers we are tapping into the kind of wisdom that sees the past present and future as against the best of the intelligence and wisdom of man that can only gather from the intelligence of the past.

We learnt that we should listen to the counsel of God in every area of our life, mostly as whatever instruction comes through the wisdom ofGod has duelly observed every variable in the past present and future including time and chance; and no matter how irrational it may seem to our mind, the working are beyond our understanding either ways and that ‘by wisdom a house is founded, through understand it is established, by knowledge its interiors are filled with riches’, and that anything that is not built on a solid foundation would eventually crumble when the wind of trials come by. 

He went on to close by saying that the premium on the hearing is the doing and that we should build on the rock.

Web Of Wisdom 1.0 (WOW) [Rocky Wisdom] - Pastor Dami Oguntunde

Hello tribesmen, what a word we had today. Pastor Dami came to construct and deconstruct ideologies and tables today. 
We learnt today, that God doesn't expect us to build anew, he wants us to layer on existing foundations he has built. This is called wisdom.

Foolishness can be diagnosed, and Wisdom is a prescription to remediate. Here are four symptoms of Foolishness. 

1. Presence of regrets is a sign that you have been foolish. Submit your regrets into the hands of God when you discover and have the heart to accommodate restoration. What you place in God's hand will not end in spoilage.


2. Cyclical experiences are experiences that repeat themselves. This category of foolishness is stubbornness. Refusing correction is a premature assumption of perfection.

3. Blame trading, irresponsibility and entitlement mentality. 

4. Actionless dreams. They are always dreaming without action. Its important to know that inspiration waits for you at the table of discipline.


The principal thing is wisdom, pursue wisdom by layering on the foundation Jesus Christ has built.

Hello Tribesmen, today was Pastor Peace’s last Sunday with us and he gave us a pertinent mantle for this season of transition we are in. 
Todays teachings was centered around seasons, where we explored wisdom through the eyes of nature even as God has pre-designed it. 

Pastor Peace broke down/ translated what the physical seasons of the world meant from the spiritual perspective. He mentioned that we have 4 seasons namely Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn and that these 4 seasons are harbingers of each other and means the following. 

Winter is a period of hibernation for introspection, retrospection, permutation and envisioning. 
While the Spring is the period for capacity building in preparation and anticipation of the opportunities and responsibilities of the summer time about to come. The Summer time implies a period of labor, productivity and value creation, and finally the autumn signifies a period of gathering and recalibration for another season of hibernation (winter). 

Pastor Peace mentioned that these seasons are important to the wellbeing and growth of every believer and we must do well to recognize and maximize them, so that we can make transitions in confidence and conviction.

Seasoned Wisdom - Web Of Wisdom (WOW) 3.0 - Pastor Peace Bamidele

Today was another wonderful experience, we continued on our learning journey on the Web of Wisdom. Today's teaching was centered around the Fear of the Lord and we learned that until a man fears God, He doesn't have a chance to access the wisdom of God. Three ways to fear God are to depart from evil, obey his commands, and to honor the men and ordinances God brings your way. 

Pastor Dami defined the fear of the Lord as a reverential honour with no threat or judgement attached. While honor is the ability to recognize differences and the willingness to allow that recognition to influence your behavior and response toward the object of honor.

Honor is entirely dependent on perception, and the quality of honour a person demonstrates is dependent on perception deficiency. Spiritual deficiencies that affect honor are:
-Spiritual myopia, 
- Spiritual hyper myopia and 
- Spiritual glaucoma.

Dear Tribesmen, major pointers from today’s teachings include:

1. Wisdom plays the long game. A believer should ensure to prioritize the needs of the future by embracing the inconveniences of the present. 

2. Flee from the APPEARANCE of temptation and resist the urge to splurge on your lust in the present. 

3. Securing your future in order to meet your successful expected end would require that you prioritize building substance and value within over physical presentation, and building a structure that can enable you withstand tribulations and temptation.

The choice of a marital partner is one of the biggest decision in life and requires wisdom to ensure a successful and fulfilling union. The traditional markers of readiness such as age, finances, willingness, burn rate, and chemistry, are not the most critical factors, and it's important to recognize the signs of wisdom in a potential spouse. A wise person is one who hears God, understands their purpose, exercises self control, recognizes a suitable partner, and practices the love of God. When looking at a potential spouse, it's helpful to view them as an extension of yourself, a reflection of yourself, and a perfection of yourself.

Hello Tribesmen, today Pastor Dami helped us create an understanding of the power of/in the tongue. 
One major pillar to today’s word is that ‘Words are meant to create’ and not just for speech’s sakes, hence it is quite remiss to base your incentive of speaking on your FEELINGS. 

We understood today that that the depth of wisdom or folly you have attained or fallen to are made evident by what comes out of your mouth. 
Also that the power of death and life are in the tongue and the way to choose life is NOT SPEAK GUILE, and you shall see good days.

In conclusion a great perspective to see the power of the tongue is that when you lie or say something vile or against your spiritual alignment, you dilute the strength of power of your word in the spiritual corridors which by extension affects your life.
