MAN. 2 Official Soundtrack (real)- OMNIVANIA

Hi everybody! I've brought you a new (and somewhat experimental) song today! It was made in Pandora's Box, a Beepbox mod I stumbled across that allows you to import sampled instruments. The song uses a couple of samples from Earthbound, so credit where credit is due there. While it wasn't really my inspiration for this one, it sounds a little like an Earthbound fan-track when listening to it.

As for what DID inspire it, I've got a little story for y'all.

I recently got back from an awesome cruise to Alaska. It was awesome, I had a great time. But I live on the east coast of the USA, and to get on the boat (which leaves out of Seattle Washington) my family had to fly across the whole country.

On the way up, it wasn't too bad. We had two connecting flights and it took us about half a day.

ON THE WAY BACK, however, it was hell. After spending an hour or two getting off the ship to the airport, we had to wait at the airport for TEN HOURS to get on a flight for FIVE HOURS, then wait an HOUR, then fly for another HOUR, then wait at another airport for THREE hours to get on a flight that only lasted thirty minutes. Then, we had to DRIVE another hour to get home. This whole trip took us a whole day and went all the way through the night, leaving us hungry, bored, and sleep-deprived.

In short, it was brutal. I never knew waiting could be so painful. But I had plenty of time to compose this song on my phone while sitting there and record the footage for this video around the airport terminal. So something good came out of it -_-

However, I found airports fascinating, busy, and full of life. I wanted to collapse but I couldn't help but appreciate the controlled chaos and urban hive that is an airport.

I tried to encapsulate my fatigue, boredom, and fascination into a song and I hope it's of interest to you!
TL;DR I was sitting in an airport for then hours and it sucked so I made a song about it

A cute little Undertale thing I made on a whim! I was originally attempting to just draw a Frisk battle sprite, but when I was comparing the sprite next to Sans and Papyrus for consistency, they simply looked like they belonged in the picture together. So I made a jingle to go with it, obviously based on the lovely melody from Toby Fox's track "Determination." Hope you guys like it!

Unrealistic Expectations is an album that blends elements of weirdcore, dreamcore, breakcore, synthwave, vaporwave, and ambient music together to create an uneasy, melancholic, and liminal 17-minute analog-horror fever dream. Starting as an experiment on how sleep deprivation influenced the music I made, I've been making songs for this album as a little side project over the last year. It makes me very pleased to have finally finished it. It's some of my most experimental work yet, but pushing the boundaries of what I enjoy making (and music in general) was very exciting.

INFINITE SLIDE

Hey all! I'm back with another track, and this time I enlisted the help of a new friend of mine, Xbeats! Check him out here: https://www.bandlab.com/dr_schadow He created the combo of beautiful choral and orchestral sounds, while I provided the guitar and most of the percussion. Overall our styles blended to create something that doesn't really fit into any particular genre, but the label of "Epic" music best applies. This track certainly wouldn't sound out of place in a fantasy video game, trailer, or D&D campaign, and I channeled those mental images while crafting the custom pixel art used in the video. ◂IMMINENT CLASH▸ - The Prophet + Xbeats - Epic Boss Battle Theme

Have you ever desired to dive into an eternal ataraxy? Hey guys! L'm back with another unique music track—inspired by the liminal space (and the accompanying Backrooms level, Level 37) that is the Poolrooms, and the amazing pixel art by my friend Stardustea! I had a basic version of this song lying around on my computer for many months that had a much more empty and jazz/muzak-inspired sound to it, created before I stumbled upon the art. After getting that spark of inspiration, I took the song in a new direction and improved a lot of the instrumentation, added drums (sampling the iconic Amen Break), a key change, some cool water sounds, and came up with this little treat!


This song sits right on the genre border between Vaporwave and VGM, which I didn't even know I could make, so it would be exciting to compose some more works in the style! As always, stay tuned.

Deltarune meets Zork meets Pokémon Red and Blue, Mythril Crusaders is a retro-inspired RPG battle simulator that allows you to craft your own myth!
With an expansive selection of classes and items, face six devilish foes ranging from the cruel Troll King to a man-eating demoness! You'll find yourself playing again and again, trying to get the highest score possible in glorious combat. This game (coded in Python) is still in the early alpha stages of development, and we hope to bring much more to you in the future.

Here's a few fun facts about the game and the music:

- All music was created to mimic the limitations of the NES sound chip, the 2A03.
- The title "Chiptune No. 1 in C Major" was meant to make the song sound like a piece of classical music.
- The game originally only had three bosses: the SERPENT, DEMONESS, and TROLL KING. Those boss themes were composed first.
- The trailer theme contains motifs from every song in the soundtrack. Try and find them all!
- The drum sounds that play in SERPENT are meant to sound a bit like the rattle and hiss of a snake.
- He Who Fights and Runs Away is meant to sound like a combination of Triumphantcy and Legends Left Unwritten
- You can hear a motif from game's main theme, Chiptune No. 1 in C Major, in TROLL KING.
