"I wanted to make a really narrative mix showcasing some personal favourites i can’t really play anywhere else than on a radio show/ home/travel listening tape. The mix swims between beautifully weird songs about love more or less i think, surrounded by darker atmosphere and moments of beautiful introspection in places that exists or not. I was searching for an adjective to describe this ambiguous romantic musical journey, i figured out that the mythology of the femme fatale is something that could fit with it. Recorded live in my bedroom studio.., reworked a bit in the DAW. A big thanks to everyone who’s part of this mixtape." - Basile

Young Ho Collective Guest Mix

Last month month we were treated to an hour of music put together by Kimochi Sound boss @m50.

Kimochi really have it down as a label. Releasing music since 2011, they have managed to cover a countless number of musical territories whilst upholding a vibrant sonic aesthetic throughout. The sleeves themselves, beautifully hand painted, make each record as special to hold as the last. With a busy release schedule planned for the remainder of 2015 we're excited to see what's coming next.
