01 Sounds Of A City

!Ancient History!

:Ji and Tam have been friends since school, Ji and Stew were enemies during childhood..Tam has played classical acoustic guitar since his teens, Stew has played guitar, bass and keys for pretty much ever..he has an A in higher music. 
When Ji and Stew met again as late teenagers they got on only talking music and were brought together by Primal Screams Vanishing Point album and the Spiritualised album Ladies and Gentlemen We are Floating in Space. 
Ji started going to his house where he would play bongos to Stew and his brother Andy's jams. 
They decided to become a proper band and recruited Tam on acoustic guitar and Ricky on drums..they practiced for ages but somehow never got to gig!!??!! 


!Not so Ancient History! 

Ji moved to Holland and picked up guitar and started writing more and more songs, he got a few bands together that made some great songs but went nowhere..He recorded a mini album but it was never fully mixed...shame! 
Meanwhile Stew was teaching his job at THE GOVERNMENT to a new recruit called Alexandria Sloan..(Censored.. Approval needed)..She could sing..by jove she could.. 
Ji came back from Holland with a bag of songs and needed a band, but could not get one to work out.Friends were needed, so first was Tam, who was by then a monster drummer in the making, Stew was cajoled, bribed and brow beaten to be the backbone. John from a previous band joined as Lead Guitarist but left for personal reasons..Alexandria and her friend Linzi joined the band on Vox, guitar and keys but then Linzi left to concentrate on Uni work..They have gigged extensively throughout Glasgow and the west and have recorded an album due for release on february the 5th at a launch party in maggie mays in glasgow.
