DJ Sets + Guest Mixes

David Kochs first emerged in 2019 on the release of a split EP via Huntleys & Palmers affiliate label Belters – he then went on to appear on And Music.

The tracks were weird, wonky and have since gone on to cause raucous energy on dancefloors the world over having been picked up by prominent dj’s and tastemakers.

Like many others he has remained relatively quiet over the course of the pandemic. However, earlier this month we received an email detailing a forthcoming album, as well as a string of releases on some of the biggest record labels in modern dance music.
 
It seemed right to feature him in this series, given what is to come and we feel this mixtape solidifies and emphasises just how significant his music might be next year.

From the hefty, melancholic slow-burner of 'Fantasmagorii' on Pampa Records to the sizzling 140bpm dancefloor breaker of 'Desert Viper' on Sofia Records. The elusive DJ and producer @Imperieux continues to deliver a wide range of unexpected yet familiar music. 

Including some unreleased music from himself, which has already received support from the likes of KiNK, Ben UFO, TSVI. This is the second mix for Weser Ton, a mix of techno, breaks, baile funk, dubstep.

Osprey's first solo release on our imprint is Perspectives, a grimy & glittery track with some hefty weight behind it. This is another one of those examples where we've held a track for an egregiously long time.

You'll have seen Osprey's name around, from Delta9 to ALL172THINGS and Hyperactivity, alongside running his first Osprey Invites event earlier this year... you're bound to see more of him in the future.
