Dee Diggs returns to New York’s toucan sounds with ‘Love Cruise’ this April. The track follows 2024’s ‘Go Deep’ on the label, which was remixed by Stefan Ringer and won support from artists like Antal, Moxie, DJ Harvey, Bradley Zero, and many more. ‘Love Cruise’ once again showcases the unmistakable Dee Diggs sound. Her impassioned, earworm vocals are joined at the hip with an expertly produced instrumental, giving a warm, sunshine feel to its infectious beat. The single comes after a great couple of years for the hotly-tipped DJ, producer, and vocalist, with Dee Diggs’ ‘Love Cruise’ marking her return to the toucan sounds label, one of the most consistent House imprints in New York City.

Maltese producer Rebecca Theuma’s project That bb gets a makeover from Yetsuby Manda, one of half of salamanda’s solo project on Wrong Island communications.

There once was a creature called That BB, Who lived on the shores of Wrong Island, you see.
“I Wish I Had Something To Say But I Don’t,” Was the phrase that this creature would constantly flaunt.

The Yetsuby came with remixes so strange, While Wrong Island Communication deranged
All the messages sent by the creatures around,  Resulting in quite an peculiar sound.


 
“Oh fiddle-dee-fumble!” That BB would cry,  As it danced ‘neath the purple-green spots in the sky.
“My Communication is terribly wrong, I can’t seem to finish this nonsensical song!”

So they pranced and they prangled through dew-dabbled dawn, With Communication so curiously drawn.
That BB and Yetsuby on Wrong Island stayed, In gloriously gibberish games that they played.

We’re premiering Yetsuby’s remix of “I Wish I Had Something To Say But I Don’t” from Maltese producer Rebecca Theuma’s project That bb. The track comes from her upcoming EP “The Words Are Stuck In My Throat” on Wrong Island Communications, with Yetsuby (one half of Korean act Salamanda) maintaining the dreamlike original but transforming it into a skittering, drum-laden, handclap madness, wig out. One for the sunrise methinks, whether that’s the end of a very long night or the start of a beautiful new day.

“I wrote these songs while going through a prolonged writer’s block. I had moved to another country and found myself feeling very alone and lost,” explains Theuma. “At this particular point in my life, sounds were better at explaining my inner landscape than words.”

The EP will be released on the ACE Scottish-born, now Lisbon-based label Wrong Island, with artwork by Polish artist Jo Sekieta.

Milton Jackson and Brian Kage team up with Detroit pioneer Jon Dixon to collaborate on an exquisite deep house cut on Freerange Records. A beautiful, honest track which brings hope and light.

Vyvyan is Bonar Bradberry’s solo project stripping club music to its core while expressing a deep love for dance music culture. His 2022 debut album, Y, balanced rough-edged percussion with warped melodies. "Waterslide EP" pushes this sound further with Gallegos stepping in to remix the monumental title track.

Bradberry is also known for his work as one half of the Leeds-based duo PBR Streetgang.

After Yuu Udagawa’s highly acclaimed EPs “Ride It” & “Peaceful Dawn” from last year, she’s back again in full effect presenting four classy, sophisticated and timeless jazz-electronica-house hybrid tracks for Compost.

The title track Golden Glow is a electric samba-infused broken beat gem, with joyful vocal melodies and a superfunky bassline creating a truly elevated vibe.

Reverie comes in smooth slow-motion house guise. Yuu's ethereal vocal interludes unfold in interplay with playful piano improvisations, underpinned by an irresistible groove.

The track “One More” seems to come straight out of a smoky jazz club. Jazzy piano sounds meet plucked double bass, underlaid with dreamy synth pads and Yuu's whispers from the twilight zone.

On Velvet City, Yuu unleashes her soulful vocal talent and her flair for wonderfully ambitiously produced deep house. A great, uplifting jam that appeals to both the heart and the dancing leg.

Music possesses an incredible ability to transform raw emotion into an expansive array of expression. Nackley knows this ideation well. Having spent years working behind the scenes as an agent, Bordello’s latest discovery now steps fully into the spotlight with Anger Management, channeling the turbulence of transition into sound.

Cathartic and charged compositions are at the heart of this four-track release. Acid-dipped keys are both delicate and direct in the driving highs of Return of the Gecko, a track pulsing with raw energy. The crueler side of the music industry isn’t so much parodied here as it is dismissed entirely—Nackley lets the music do the talking. Sublime Desolation is pure dancefloor dynamite, where synth sirens detonate and explosive rhythm commands movement.

Been A Long Time arrives dripping in attitude. Breaks and a juddering bassline face off with a hustling 303 hook, harmonies weaving through deep sonic textures. A renewed confidence courses through the release as Nackley explores a range of styles, closing with the synth romance of Heartbreaker—an addictive blend of keyboards, guitar strings, and enveloping vocals are the emotive ingredients of this tear-streaked work of 1980s-inspired joy.

And joy is exactly what Anger Management delivers—a healing triumph and a bold debut declaration from a rising talent.

As at home playing dreamy house and breaks as she is navigating through harsh industrial and techno, her ability to adapt has rightfully earned her a regular radio show on Noods and a residency at Bristol's Motion as well as spots on festival line ups across the UK and beyond.

One of the brains behind the top notch bookings at Bristol institute The Love Inn, she's had a hand in bringing some of the most exciting artists to play in the southwestern city.
