A trio of hypnotic, shapeshifting grooves from Thomass Jackson that blur the lines between party and paranormal. Unpredictable yet always danceable.

Transcend into orbit with Uritorco Times. (Probably) an ode to Argentina’s most mystical peak, UFO synthesisers flash and bleep around a wonky bassline. The result is equal parts mystic ritual and late night mischief.

Sly yet crunchy Push Comes To Shove rides a killer bassline over off kilter percussion. Sleazy mechanical funk that teeters, entranced between tension and release.

Sonic Witchcraft ensues in Junk Be Gone as the shadowy yet playful bassline twists like smoke around the acid melody summoning rhythm from strangeness.

Junk Be Gone gets the Felix Dickinson treatment for the EP’s remix delivering an extra long rework that stays respectfully true to the original in all the right ways. Live acid bass envelops the original bassline whilst ever intensifying synth solos build to an epic crescendo.

Naarm/Melbourne-based queer party turned label CONFIDE returns with its second release, a special split EP of club ready cuts no strangers to CONFIDE's dance floors, D. Tyrone & Jo Christy.

'Sisters Split', a collaborative piece of work by the two trans producers and DJs, sees the pair doubling up on joints perfectly tailored for their beloved city's queer scene. 

D. Tyron'e 'Funky (Age Of Love)', premiered here, was recorded during a stint at MESS (Melbourne Electronic Sound Studio) and driven by a fixation on Yahama gear from the 90s and 2000s. Light, bright, but driving, 'Funky (Age Of Love)' is a perfectly timed Summer jam we're excited to hear once the holiday season comes knockin'.

'Sisters Split' releases tomorrow, Friday, December 12 ahead of CONFIDE's celebratory release party at Miscellania this Sunday.

Based in Barcelona, Pedro Vian, is the owner and founder of Modern Obscure Music, a record label and platform which allows him to accurately release his interpretation of what he believes today's electronic music should be. Releases on the label have included music from the likes of Madteo, Ital and Inga Copeland. He is also often associated with the Hivern Discs label and released several records on the label as part of his Aster project. Here is a rough and ready mix straight from the depths of the Spanish underground.

"excoriation (瘢痕)" is the new EP by Cemetery, five tracks of intimate ambience and uplifting electronics that shapeshift between states of blissful hope and sudden melancholy, letting wounds bloom and heal under city lights.

Ex Continent rewires the last track into his personal territory, first dragging it down with slowed down signature drums to suddenly let it regenerate and emerge back through the cracks of it's new code.

Cemetery is based in Tokyo, Japan, and has been active since 2016. He also co-runs CONDOMINIMUM, a self described collective "For All the Brash Boys & Girls".
