The park was quiet today, all the people had left the city for the weekend leaving the plazas and promenades between the trees empty and spacious. It was perfect.

Strolling between the greenery he’d occasionally catch a shimmering glimpse of a skyscraper between the branches, only for it to become concealed once more by the dense shrubbery of the summertime.

The breeze blew softly. The light flickered hazily between the shadows.

He walked slowly. Strolling.

AD & The Persuader team up for a wicked release on Kwench Records featuring the additional talents of Bella Hardcover. This is an excellent EP consisting of tech driven house music with delicate elements dotted throughout.

There was an opening between the trees, an arena within which a fire burned brightly casting sparks and flames high upward toward the forest ceiling.

Shadows danced and moved in a circular motion, each swaying in time with the beat of the drums. Their faces were concealed by the darkness, for everyone was anonymous here.

The music echoed loudly, sounds of the wild. It bounced from tree to tree, becoming loud and relentless in the heat of the darkness.

This would go on all night.

Benyayer is set to release a new record on his own label. A bass driven affair which leans heavily into the UK lineage of the genre and reminds us why big soundsystems and the wobble of an undercurrent are all you might ever need.

RIDE’s Andy Bell, recording under his electronic alter ego GLOK, and the producer and Insult to Injury label boss Timothy Clerkin have joined forces for Alliance, a brand new seven-track album released by Bytes on November 8. The collaboration finds Andy and Tim with their freak flags flying, working in a freewheeling environment where nothing was off limits, with influences ranging from Death in Vegas and Boards of Canada to James Holden and New Order.

The woozy ‘Empyrean’, which combines the analogue-decayed production of Boards of Canada and the ethereal vocals of ‘Xtal’ from Aphex Twin’s Selected Ambient Works 85-92 with a fizzing behemoth of a synth line, is a fitting way to launch the album as it was the first track they worked on together. “It’s basically a Timothy Clerkin remix of a demo I sent him,” Andy explains. “I can’t get enough of it. To me, it’s one of the best tracks I’ve ever been involved with since I started making music.”

The sails billowed in the wind. They were all that were in control of the ship as it moved steadily forward across the stormy waters. The sky was cloudy and dense overhead, it looked as though it might soon rain.

Up on deck there were only a handful of men left watching over the course of the boat. They were the ones that had to pick up the slack as the storm hit. Together they were responsible for driving things onward and steadily through the bleak, darkness of the night to come.

It was a wicked dance this. One ship upon the wildest of waters.

Terraflow is a moniker of producer AJ Edward. This time things get dark and heavy on a new EP for Liquid Memory Records as he enters more progressive, bass driven territory and delivers to wondrous effect.

They were hovering above the ground, gravity was non existent in these parts and they were only buoyed down by the mechanics all around them.

Deep in the midst of space it was hard to reconcile what life was like back home. The people packed upon crowded transport, the busy offices, the weekend entertainment. Out here in the middle of nowhere there was nothing of the sort. At times it was hard to remember your own name.

Some could not even imagine it, the way beyond. Yet here they were…

The night was chilly and cold, the sound of industry could be heard roaring in the distance. They were building and preparing for what was to come, for it could be any day now.

Smoke filled the air, it was thick and coarse upon the lungs. One deep breath might be all it took to send you into the great beyond.

The original of Pastel was featured on my “Orion” EP, released in 2017 through Amsterdam based La Freund Recordings. Through the years it racked up more than 2 million streams on Spotify, which sparked the idea of creating a remix for it. 
I produced it in the previous weeks, for a large part in the Covid-19 induced quarantine so it seemed like a logical and nice gesture to give the track away during these weird and trying times.

We are Really glad to welcome such a brilliant artist as Boo Williams for this first Goldmin Special release with ones of the best tracks he's put out yet. This Summer love selection compiles four of the most emotive tracks from his album "Universal Limits", released on vinyl in 2001 on Mike Grant's imprint "Moods & Grooves" for the first time on digital format

Born July 20, 1967 in Chicago, Boo Williams has been a part of the city's house music entourage since 1981, he is truly considered as one of the Chicago House music legends.

Later on in the 1990's, Boo began production and then later remixing in '93. He started out parting on the city's south side soon introduced to Glenn Underground who got him started in music production.

It's not summer yet but the sun is gonna shine eternally with such beautiful melodies !
