Banoffee Pies Records 18th release in the Original Series continues with another speaker hugger via a 4 track EP from HearThuG. The Tunisia based artist, digger, and “Are You Alien” label/party founder joins the Banoffee fray with “Planet Rhythm X”.

The Producer / DJ who honed a craft in sample twisted acid and breaks, drops their first solo release since 2018. A friendly face pushing the local scene with an impressive output of heavily chaptered synth jams.

The lead track “Earthling” sets a welcome signal with a low key wiggle, chopped drums and pinching acid lines ahead of the title tune “Planet Rhythm X” on the A2, which shifts to a 4x4 launch pad and countdown. “The Land Of The Never Ending Jazz” opens the B side with a superb 9 minute exploration of playful melodies and jazz keys, with a classy twirl. Fio Fa is back with another release exploring his finely tuned approach to effortlessly rolling, yet playful pumpers that have become characteristic of his sound. This time on his new imprint Sunset Drifters, the label launches with 4 devious dancefloor cuts that solidify his sonic relationship with the sounds of early dance music. Straightforward yet effective, the EP merges his many inspirations - the dynamic drums & flecks of acid in proto-house, the rolling basslines of progressive, and the mini melodies and synth stabs of EBM and early rave.

We start our journey on a ride through the Turquoise Kingdom - a track that pumps & pouts. The bassline skips playfully between a short acid line, while sassy whistles light the way. We are guided to a moment with familiar samples from a classic, given a tasteful touch. This sample is carefully placed for a hit of nostalgia as we switch gears - going full speed towards Dash the bouncer. A held note keeps the anticipation high while building the drums to a frenzy. A task in tension building, the mood is sneaky & scheming. The tension continues to tower over us before we encounter the final boss. The b (boss) side begins with Enter The Turtle; strutting in at sultry o-clock, it is a provocative yet punchy prance in prog paradise. The release culminates with title track Sunset Drifters - a euphoric release, channelling the continuity of the modern progressive pulse. A stunning choice for sunrise or sunset, the captivating & catchy melody resolves into elation, bringing us a feeling that one would associate with their best moments

Tombolo Rumble Vol I. is here! The first volume of a list of selected releases by different artists from around the globe. Proud to be presenting four tracks by four upcoming and established legends on the panorama of electronic music: Unknown Mobile, DJ Dog, Poly Chain and Abdul Raeva. 

First artist on the list is Unknown Mobile, an amazing producer and dj based in Montréal, Canada. You may know him well from his well received releases across some of the dance sphere labels like Planet Euphorique or Pacific Rhythm among others. What you can find in his track is a 4×4 upbeat house atmosphere that goes along with crazy synths, and a beautiful harmony creating a perfect melting for the dancefloor. 

Second track is by DJ Dog, the fun aka of DJ Fett Burger, a Norwegian legend based in Berlin founder of projects such as S*x Tags Mania or Trushmix. He comes with a downtempo, jumpy track, with very fun percussions and synths that will make you feel as if you are walking on Mars. 

Third track is by Estonian duo Abdul Raeva. Huge track for the club, upbeat techno with acid baselines on a fast bpm percussion. 

And last but not least, we have Poly Chain, a Ukranian artist that is getting a lot of attention due to her strong mixes as well as her productions, delivering some fat broken beats with acid baselines as well.

Days had turned into weeks and weeks into months; it was as though time no longer existed, nothing defined one day to the next. Failed attempts at keeping the mind and body active had quickly been cast aside, replaced by bad habits and squandered hours. Reality would return soon and in turn balance would be restored...

London-based imprint X-Kalay add to their healthy catalogue with an instalment from Holding Hands affiliate, Adam Pits. Marking his debut on the label, following a string of releases for Coastal Haze and Wex this year, he brings yet more styles to the table, adding proggy house influences and driving synths into the mix alongside signature breaks and techno. On the flip, illusive Magicwire artist Bliss Inc. puts his own spin on title track 'Piston Pump, twisting it into a euphoric peak time cut.
