Used Jon Hopkins beautiful piano interpretation of Luke Abbott’s «Modern Driveway» and played around with it as self therapy. This is the result.

Before Genius of Time forged their reputation as one of the most impressive hardware acts, not to mention flat-out nicest dudes, in the game, Dorisburg rode solo with music in a similar vein; once they took off, that moniker got put in the cryogenic freezer. Dials were set to 'dethaw' in 2015, and so we arrive now at "Dimension Sculpture". Release nº3 from upstart imprint Myth Music (steered by our very own lovely host-programmer-überdon Baron Castle, fact fans) comes with a tempting edit from label co-founder Lando on the flip, but we needed to let the A-side loose. It's choppy, dark, infectious and guaranteed to melt faces – and quite possibly support beams, too – in packed basements and festival tents across the entire summer, and beyond.

The empty corridor was chilling. The linoleum floor glimmered beneath the powerfully charged lights which hung from the ceiling up above. As she walked down the passage she listened closely to the click of her heels upon the ground. Each abrupt noise echoed prominently in what was like a chamber of demise. She felt as if she might be the only girl in the world to exist in such a space. The darkness outside was far more welcoming than in here....

When I get a request to do a remix I take that as an invitation… an invitation to express.

The sounds from the original composition become doors / gates… stepping stones for me to travel into this very moment and investigate how it is always changing (that changing being me).

I start working with the sounds… looping, playing, shaping… like a ceramist working with the clay, a painter working with the brush and paint, or the baker working with the dough. This process becomes a mantra; a meditation, and my studio becomes filled with sounds and rhythms… echoes from the original song, filtered by this very moment, temporary passing through ”someone” being called Sebastian Mullaert or Wa Wu We. Expression taking place and there are ”NO MORE WORDS”. Music becomes being, just Being.

STL is one of my absolute favorite artists, this specific invitation felt very special to me and the journey around the creation of the remix has been very deep.

Now I invite You to take part of it, let your consciousness express this very moment through the experience of the music. Again, being is just Being.

Fluctuation is Dycide’s second solo EP on Lowless and the artist’s first vinyl release. The Munich-based producer presents three club-oriented tracks. A rhythmic and minimalist techno like the German has often accustomed us to.
The vinyl opens with the mystical groovy journey called Fluctuation. The second track Fluent Iteration is probably the artist’s most tortured production where a dialogue between a humming bass and a dark pad take the main role. Inflation is a long and dark apocalyptic descent.
The deep techno legend Claudio PRC closes the EP in the best way possible with a great remix of Fluctuation revealing his dreamy and emotional side.
