The river weaved its way through the forest, navigating neighbourings villages and grazing animals that had made themselves at home on the banks. If it had eyes, it would have many secrets and stories to tell; much had taken place along this stretch of water over the years. Though these stories would continue to fade into history and in memory, the river would always keep flowing. 

On his debut album 'Terre Promise', Brittany based producer and DJ Blutch explores the groovier side of his tastes, drawing influence from the UK's rich electronic music history, from breakbeat to UKG and electronica. On the second single from the LP 'River' Blutch reaches euphoric heights marrying elements of leftfield breakbeat and emotive house, backed by remixes from Ellum and Astropolis Records affiliate Madben and Global Warming Records boss Malcolm.

a destructive sound by French nice guys who have been active in
the electro and braindance scenes of the last few years.

A2 is Weith. He presides over Brainwaves and has released tracks
on many labels. Italian producer Caramel Chameleon who is also
active in 030303 Records. The moving IDM sound is a must listen.

Featured newcomer Tadan offers a clear electro track that is
unique to him. This release is packed with variety of electro and

Conflict had never been his thing, he shied away from any form of confrontation, that said he somewhat enjoyed being a spectator. Casually pausing his music to listen into a heated argument on the train; watching from a distance as a friend challenged a drunken stranger getting in her space — as soon as it came to matters of his own though, he froze and retreated. On the fringes was where he'd always choose to remain.

It's been five years since Bintus unleashed anything into the world. Lucky for us he's back to 'cause a right old stink' with a new two-tracker on his own Power Vacuum imprint. It's a gutsy return that, in typical Bintus fashion, hits you smack bang in the face with a dose of acid, electro and rave sonics, from the squelchy staccato punches of title track 'Rag It!' to the acid-driven ride that is 'Millennium Speaker Stand'.

Reaching five years of the imprint, head honcho Dj Whipr Snipr curates the second ‘Freaky Friends’ compilation, featuring contributions from a host of label associates and hotly tipped producers for six fast-paced, heavy-hitting tracks

Leading the release, Shall Not Fade and E-Beamz affiliate DJ Swagger’s ‘Hoticewater’ blends deep oscillations with skipping breaks and shimmering pads, with Low Tape’s ‘So Delicious’ following, keeping the energy high.
Striking vocals meet trippy FX and electro-tinged drum patterns across the track, a continuation of the DJ/producer’s releases on the likes of X-Kalay and Of Paradise.

Ramping up the tempo, Berlin-based Nasty Enterprises boss Nasty King Kurl returns to the label with a fast and powerful off-kilter jam, leaning on freaked out vocals and tough percussion.
Rounding out the release, Cologne’s Turk Turkelton offers up ‘Offenbachs Father’, delivering a track complete with razor-sharp drum workout and expressive synth work.

Following up their joint release from Pletnev and Panorama Channel earlier this year, Biologic Records welcome a new producer to the family, Global Warming boss Malcolm. The label head and Rinse FM DJ has showcased his curatorial abilities via both these mediums, and continues that refined ear through his production work on his Baptem EP. Complete with a remix from LuckyMe affiliate Nathan Micay and a moody collaboration with Parisian vocalist and producer ڭليثرGlitter٥٥, the collection of tracks displays Malcolm's deep-rooted influences in bass, soundsystem, rave and techno.

The stalactites (Natif) are amorphous juice from the bottom of the mind, they are the seeds of confusion and irrationality and they seep through cracks in the cave and produce chaos and trembling until suddenly, out of a nightmare are born proud crystals of splendor and inspiring beauty.

Malcolm arrives fresh on the London scene after honing his craft in the French underground club scene, sculpting a richly textured sonic identity that moves in both tense and cinematic universes.

As much inspired by sci-fi scores as 90’s rave culture, this prolific producer blends heavy ethnic rhythms and monstrous drums with hints of melancholy and ethereal sounds, crafting his own take on bass music with richly-textured low-tempo tracks and remixes that have already snagged interest from the likes of Ben UFO, Lena Willikens and Trevor Jackson, and entered the playlists of BBC Radio 6, Radio Nova and Rinse France.
