Humble B Flats - Blessings of Sun double disk, coming out on Pond Life Records is a sonic spiritual voyage and document of the artist's last three years, overcoming grief and challenges - while deepening a sense of gratitude for the teachings and learnings along the way.

Musically this has translated, to a beautiful series of works, inspired by musical cultures around the world, this Deep House album is infused with jazz, psychedelia , tribal and heartwarming sounds and grooves.

With exception to collaboration with Kudo Sol and Ilja Gussarov (on tracks B1 & C1 respectively) all instruments, as ever, are played, recorded, rearranged and mixed by Humble B Flat, with a more sample based approach to the rhythmic grooves.

Gabu opens a new chapter with the launch of a fresh series, and the first release comes from none other than Dabous, the Riyadh-based producer making waves far beyond the Saudi underground. Known for his deep, hypnotic house and dub-infused sound, Dabous has already brought his energy to stages like MDL Beast Soundstorm, performing alongside global icons of the scene.

With Ceiling, he strips things down to their essence: mysterious pulses, heavy low-end echoes, and the kind of heady groove that lingers long after the last beat fades. It’s music that feels at once intimate and expansive, born from the underground, shaped for deep listeners, and carrying the unmistakable Gabu signature.

The series will launch first on Bandcamp, giving early supporters exclusive access, before rolling out across all major platforms in the months that follow.

Running Hot’s eponymous new label is finally here. Kicking things off with 'Bad For The Body, Good For The Soul', four brand new dancefloor-ready cuts from the man himself ready for some heavy rotation this summer. “Local Dealer” gets us started with rattling percussion, moody strings and vocal cuts reminiscent of some forgotten 90s NY classic before “Doggo’s Groove” heads into slicker disco-fueled territory to complete the A-side. Flip things over for “Hippy Disco”, a peak time filter house inspired big room roller, before “Cali” doffs the cap to the smooth sound of early 2000s San Francisco.

After a 12-year gap since the release of two albums and two Eps, Linda Mirada presents her new album ‘Qué largo es el verano’. Featuring a collaboration with North Satellite, production and mixing by Metro Area’s Darshan Jesrani, contributions from Bart Davenport and Daniel Collás of the Phenomenal Handclap Band.

Linda Mirada’s new album got off to an unforeseen start a few years ago when she proclaimed - “I’m going to record a record in Italian”.  To this day that idea has still not been carried out, but her first record in twelve years has since materialized. It doesn’t feature a single song in Italian, but it breathes the spirit of the early 80s pop in southern Europe with flashes of Italo disco.

The idea of recording an LP was born from a conversation with Daniel Collás that opened an unexpected door. What began as an exchange about musical affinities activated the need to reignite old ideas that had been put aside. The vertigo of composing and recording music gave way to the pleasure of working on songs. Time in the studio, collaborations and stories that grew as they came into contact with melodies were all guided by intuition, fertile disorder and the complicity of those who crossed paths in the process, plus a few coincidences. The result is a sensational collection of songs that moves between intimate hedonism and gentle melancholy. There are echoes of the most sophisticated sounds of the 80s, the candor of early electropop, influences of Mediterranean pop and splashes of disco. All with a fresh look, without indulging in nostalgia or clichés.

‘Qué largo es el verano’ is an album made with joy and care. It channels Mirada’s influences into songs that shine with their own light. These seven tracks – plus a PHB Dub - crystallize a very personal way of understanding music as an everyday space, where the production is not the main focus, but with an intention in each note and in each chosen sound. This album brings Linda Mirada back to the forefront of a little-trodden but necessary territory; that of Balearic pop made with sensitivity and elegance. And the single in Italian is sure to come one of these days.

Asa Tate, fka Tech Support has been on a bit of a tear recently and this record feels like a real step up: a statement of intention aimed directly at the peak time dance floor.

A student of the Weatherall school of DJing, Asa Tate has showcased an astonishingly mature approach to production over the years that belies his age. You’d be forgiven for thinking these 4 tracks had been discovered from a dusty DAT tape, locked away in the vaults of a northern Italian club and rediscovered after 30 years….Listen more closely and you’ll notice the contemporary production flair and more recent influences that make this EP a perfect reinterpretation of the mid 90s house sound: sitting somewhere between dream house and Morales finest work under the red zone moniker.

Seoul-based DJ Botermelk inaugurates his new label Venn with a four-track EP built for the floor. 'Rubber Glover' opens with a skewed stomp, its looping vocal fragments and bubbling FX locking into a hypnotic groove. 'Milwaukee' cools the pace into a dubby minimal stride, its soft synth swells and clipped percussion suggesting a sly after-hours mood. On the flip, 'Rearview' toughens up with a low-end rumble and menacing vocal snatches, a darker workout that contrasts neatly with what follows. Bristol's Boulderhead steps in to remix 'Rubber Glover', sharpening the drums and adding elastic drones for a buoyant, peak-time push. Across the set, Botermelk balances eccentricity with functionality - the kind of left-of-centre tools that signal both a strong label debut and a producer hitting his stride.

The waters were ready for entry. It was time to test the depths as the submarine sunk deep below the surface. Around them tropical fish flickered in the glow of the crafts headlights. The water faded from a pale blue to a murky black as they moved deeper and deeper downwards. Life was few and far between down here, the creatures weird, wonderful and frightening. Many men had sunk and lost their way amid such low reaches, they would be alright though, they were simply testin' the waters. 

Astropical Tapes return with a brand new ep from Boryn. This is the labels fourth release to date and is accompanied with a remix from Loz Goddard.
