Barcelona-based record label Adepta unveil ‘Sleek Vibra’, a dystopian missive from Rome-based producer Alessandro Gramaccioni, operating under the cryptonym AFM...Our pick, ‘Kamui Effect’, opens with a scrambled polyphony of laser-guided distress signals and shortwave interference, as if intercepted from a rogue satellite in psychic orbit. What follows is a hyperventilated stutter of metallic percussions and spasmodic low-end sequences, sound architecture for dancefloors warped by fever dreams. A harp flickers in and out like a ghost in the circuitry, while distant male voices echo through steel ducts. Nervous and high-functioning, it feels like an artefact from a club night that never ended, or perhaps never began. Grainy, cerebral, and gloriously unstable, this one’s tailor-made for heads seeking sanctuary at the edges.

A new chapter in Bristol’s electronic music scene begins as @northviewrecs launches with the debut album ‘Quiet Thud‘ by label founder Oliver. While rooted in house and techno, the album expands into more atmospheric and experimental territory, maintaining an ethereal, distinctive quality throughout.

The standout track from the album is the third cut, “Plaza“. Brimming with effervescent drum programming and shrouded in ethereal atmospheres, it gradually unfolds into an immersive soundscape that subtly draws you in, head gently nodding along. A must-listen for fans of The Sight Below, Exael, and Uon.

From the low-lit basements of London to the overcast grooves of the Baltic, Berlin via London imprint Laib Und Seele deliver their second collective outing 'Multigrain Compilation II'...Our pick, Yoshida’s 'Debno', opens the compilation with a haunting kind of grace. Hovering somewhere between UK braindance and ambient breaks, it unfolds like a thick mist rolling over a rusted industrial panorama. Pads hum like distant machines stirring to life, while the drum programming shifts delicately between off-kilter and hypnotic, steadily building toward a finely woven crescendo. It’s a track that doesn’t rush to get anywhere, it pulses with quiet intent, leaving space for breath and everything in between.

Today on Meta Moto Premieres we have Teenage Menopause Records. For this new full-length output, Gil.Barte delivers on Teenage Menopause an 8 tracks LP full of formal strength and psychedelic grandeur. Unlike the vast near-death explorations or trancey adventures he developped on various labels such as Neubau, Big Science Records, Homemade Soundsystem or his own imprint Meth'O'Tapes, the meaningfully-named « Claviceps Purpurea » is a botanist guide to the valleys of the mind.

From the eponym opening to the ending echo, each entry is a glance at magical universal exotica. With an intense emphasis on rhythm, standing quite apart from his former releases, Gil.Barte draws the bouncing steps of a whirlwind dance rooted in western witchcraft.

Raging pieces of club-destroying material (for those who dare) meet sketches of electronic fever-dreams. A full circle that is meant to run on and on, breaking the veil of daylight consciousness.

The snake weaved its way through the jungle. It slithered slowly along the leafy underbelly of the great green monster as the trees breathed deeply in and out brimming with warmth and wisdom.

The jungle was an ominous place – some called it the beast for the way in which it could swallow you and never let you go.

The snake knew little of the landscape in which it lived but the people, the people, they did.

It was hot and sticky that night.

Budalagi is expertly remixed by Dåser to create a genre pushing version which channels elements of dub, bass, gengetone and beyond. It’s all things and it sounds delicate and punchy in equal measure – however that works is a mystery and testament to the production skills.

Soon to arrive via the French imprint Armen Crew, his latest parcel, “April Flowers,” showcases four originals that further explore this signature style. The release demonstrates his ability to merge genres fluidly, offering listeners a journey through nuanced electronic landscapes.

Premiered here, the title track exemplifies Schaden’s skill in crafting intricate IDM-inspired compositions. Breakbeat patterns intertwine with deep basslines, while fragmented vocal snippets and warped effects add layers of tension. The result is playful yet ominous, a piece that dances between lightness and intensity. With this EP, Schaden continues to refine his approach, delivering a compelling mix of melody and grit that lingers in the mind.
