For Viscera 140, our close friend Sarahtonin joins the series with a live recording from Corsica Studios, captured in May 2025. Expect trippy acid and rolling grooves for a late night dancefloor!

She’s been listening to and mentally cataloguing music all her life and has developed both a broad taste and an encyclopaedic knowledge which allows her to play across time and genre to craft the best vibe for any situation – whether that’s Wednesday afternoon radio on Do!! You!!! alongside Charlie Bones, the legendary Low Life parties of Bill Brewster and Frank Broughton, dark smokey clubs in the small hours, or sweaty festival tents on summer afternoons.

Her unshazamable DjHistory mystery mix demonstrates the depth of her collection, which spans rare house and disco cuts, driving chuggy groovers, soul with sexy vocals, acid, electronica, techno, reggae and UKG.

Sarah’s weekly radio show on Do!! You!!! has a dedicated following around the world and inspires chatroom comments like “Goooooosebumpssss”, “I’m out of ‘woi’” and “gonna learn to make a bot that just posts ‘chune’ every time Sarah starts a new track”. She’s hosted guests including Richard Sen, Scarlett O’Malley, Chris Coco, Running Hot and Rosie Ama. As well as her regular show, she contributes guest mixes to stations including NTS, Refuge Worldwide, Soho Radio, Mutant Radio and Voices. And she’s made a Chill Out Tent mix for Apple Music.

A Low Life resident since 2023, Sarah delivers funky sets to faithfuls and newcomers at London institution Corsica Studios, injecting fresh energy into this long-running and much loved party. In 2024, she graced the celebrated Gala festival, filling the affectionately dubbed Wizard’s Hat with love, smiles, cheers and tears. Other notable festival performances include Glastonbury, Love International, Watching Trees and Wildwood.

Magic Carpet Ride w/ Chez De Milo: 28th October '25

As a DJ, music curator, collector and radio host, Istanbul’s Zozo has a unique approach to create and alter musical moods for various occasions with a distinctive yet hard to pin down sound. She gets her kicks from seeing long-forgotten and criminally under-appreciated music experience a new lease of life. Peppering mixes with a vast range of influences varying from pulsing techno to lysergic oddities and traditional sounds of her native Turkey, a Zozo gig almost always materializes as a symbiosis of forward-facing electronics, contemporary dance music and carefully picked gems from the past she grew up on.

Following the motto ‘life is hard but music is good’ from an early age, she has a seasoned character and deep understanding of the dynamics of the dance floor, with which she communicates with empathy. That has kept her busy on the weekends and she managed to bring her versatile taste to iconic dance floors as Panorama Bar, Contact Tokyo, De School, Ankali Prague, Robert Johnson or Salon des Amateurs. She is also a regular in high-rated festivals such as Berlin Atonal, Primavera Sound, Waking Life, Lente Kabinet, Flow Festival, Strange Sounds From Beyond, Dekmantel and its Selectors offshoot to name a few.

Part of the Lyon based label & dj crew Macadam Mambo and resident of Berlin institution Sameheads, Zozo nowadays operates as a resident DJ and musical advisor for Tavern Istanbul and crowning her interest in music and art with her multidisciplinary platform; AFOM INT. (A friend of mine International), that brings together like minded friends, in different fields such as music, art, design and publishing.

This is the first recording of me entering a new decade and it happens to be at one of my favorite parties: Buka in Milan. Over three hours of mixed intensity and emotions exploring all the fine nuances of Trance under a disco ball with my back to the dancefloor and the crowd by my side... Thanks to Stefano, Alessia, Enrico and the rest of the team for putting on such a great party and to all the dancers that made it what it was, looking forward to the next one!

DC Salas is a Belgian DJ/producer hailing from Brussels. Active on the Belgian and European nightlife for 14 years now, as a DJ, DC crafted his sound into something pretty diverse: house, new beat, 90’s wrong speeder or percussive beats, no boundaries. As a producer he released music on labels such as: Correspondant, River Rapid, TAU, B-Pitch Control, Kill The DJ and his own imprint Biologic Records.

Q. What sounds or feelings did you draw upon when gathering inspiration for this mix, and what listening environments could you imagine it being best enjoyed in?

A. Sam: would be amiss not to say deepness – hard to really say what that means, though. Music played deep into the party, everyone on molly, the sound system is the one from Labyrinth, and it’s in Yarra Bend. 

A. Jack: Yeah much the same as Sam, we share a mutual love for deepness albeit in a slightly different way. I hope it will be a bit of an all hours mix for cooking, eating, driving or for the hours after etc.

Q. Are there any records in the mix that you were especially excited to share, and what is it about these songs that resonate with you so much?

A. Sam: Many resonate, but the Baby Ford track toward the beginning sums up the whole deepness-being-difficult-to-describe thing, for me at least. David Alvarado does that to me as well – he features a fair bit here. 

A. Jack: there have been many tunes I would've loved to include - but without much defined planning we got to this mix one afternoon. Bit of a mish mash of different deepish tunes from over the years, moving around home base which is good old house music. Nothing too serious.

Q. You’ve both been involved in facilitating a myriad of great underground parties in Melbourne over the last decade from outdoor raves to basement club nights, Jack, tell us about your latest endeavour Reasons and how that fits into the music community focussed party ethos?

A. Jack: Reasons came about as a bit of an evolution from just running parties, toward something that connects and platforms the people around me and incorporates music, food and art.. After spending time overseas, I felt a strong pull to bridge those worlds, and to bring some of those ideas we encountered abroad back home.  

Q. I know you’ve both been working hard on various studio projects both solo and collaboratively, tell us about the latest endeavours, and what sounds are you enjoying exploring whilst working together?

A. Sam: Making music together has always come naturally, finishing tracks less so. Plans mostly go out the window once we start, but I feel like we’ve always converged on a distinct feeling without having to explicitly voice. I like exploring all sounds with Neil, but I guess we’ve always tended to steer toward some kind of 90s nostalgia. The final track in the mix is a useful example.

A. Jack: We’re both always making music in some form, sometimes with more focus than others, at least for me. We’ve always got a few bits in the works I guess (including the last track in the mix), but as Sam said, finishing things together doesn't always happen... Lately, I’ve been trying to be a bit more deliberate with what I am making. Definitely a few releases to come in the next 6 months, as well as a new non-dance music project.

Racing towards it's destination it must ensure that it was not traced by opposition radar, who knew that a mere tin can could maintain such responsibility? Faster than the speed of light, the frame of the shell glimmered under the glow of the starlight from up above. Soon to cause havoc and prosperity for nations divided by sea, it must not miss. 

Kess Kill is the brainchild of Rivet, to date it has released an array of off centre post punk and electronics. However, now the label draws upon the musical intuition of Swedish duo Grand Mal x.

The code was statistically problematic and prone to dangerous manipulation. As he toyed with the whirring machine he padded the buttons relentlessly: eight, zero, six, nine. He took a deep breath and tried once more, eight, zero, six, nine. He was beginning to lose his patience with the jilted machinery and soon he may well very have to do the unthinkable. Vandalism was not in his nature but a violent rage and a ticking clock had the capacity to change everything. 

400PPM is the moniker of the widely acclaimed, New York based producer, Shawn O'Sullivan. His new album on Avian sees him draw upon machine led inspiration.

Fit for Purpose

The climate within the glasshouse was murky and warm. The heat poured prominently through the long windows as the plants soared elegantly into the sunshine up above. On level ten, an environment was blossoming, one left untouched by man and machine. In this place nature would thrive and flourish for generations to come as the chimes echoed in the hollow space. 

Munro is set to release a new two track EP on XVI Records. Two truly wicked tracks packed with summer enthusiasm and vibes a plenty.

The capital was awash with beautiful people. They danced elegantly under the pale glow of the moon as the framework of great buildings loomed spectacularly overhead. In the distance the cries of the new year could be heard echoing through the park and she gazed out towards the exotic sprawl before her. The balcony was getting cold as the light continued to fade, but she feared little for the chill. She was warm at home now. 

Pont Neuf is a French record label operating out of the capital. They are set to release a new EP from Tour-Maurbourg in the coming weeks.

The keys melodically chimed in the empty church hall. In the corner of the suty room was a man composing a perfect harmony upon a delicate piano. He plucked and prodded the instrument so intricately it were as if he were a part of the very notes himself. The light hung low outside as he closed the old wooden doors behind him and walked into the open courtyard. People were gathered by coffee shops and bars, merrily passing the time as the day fell to a close. 

Komon & Will Saul collaborate on the much loved Aus Music record label, owned by Saul himself. The pair also bring in the big guns on remix duties with Nick Hoppner and Juju & Jordash stepping up.

The number was ominous and fierce. The chords throbbed passionately in between the castle walls. It looked out upon the open green park with a hazy shadow. Beneath the trees it was a haunted place within which witches dined and demons played. However, deep in the darkness of the night the battle of drums echoed wild amongst the forest and the castle became illuminated with life. Fear was in the eye of the beholder and it was not for this eve. 

Christian Lisco is the next artist to release on Paramount City. He delivers four tracks of analogue delight on a new EP titled "Juno".
