Control Alt Deus was an aggrotech / harsh ebm / futurepunk act from Lisbon, Portugal by AMK and Hex. They featured an EBM base, trance inspired sound-structures and punk attitude. 

However, they also added innovative elements of drum n bass, electro-industrial, synthpop and more.

Piska Power plunges us right into modular territory with some heart beating material and thus the tests have come back positive. or negative, which ever way you look at it. 'Eiter Mit Stulle' is a 6 track EP/ Mini LP - A nod to the working class, the ones building our future, for the better. The opening track 'Stulle' simply yet cleverly names all of the main metro station districts of Berlin, underscoring the juxtaposition of most working-class people commuting daily with the homelessness. All walks of life being forced to interact. 'Eiter' and 'Grad III' turn it up and inside out whilst flipping to the B side, 'Eine Man Eine Frau' intro's us to a less club focused remainder of this EP. 'Joyeuse Bureau' is a synth wave post punk masterpiece and lastly apt, 'Strigoi' is about a love that changed the life of a miserable individual.

Budapest's Dalmata Daniel ready the release of their second instalment in their DDE series, a collaborative release from two of the city's emerging producers, CT Kidobó & LAU. While individually the former debuted on the label last year with his Exterminador EP and the latter is known for her live acts, solo and formerly as part of a duo called Wave Twins, together they have been crafting full throttle electro since 2019. For their forthcoming release Hamburg's L.F.T. takes on remix duties giving 'Mental Vortex' a vintage minimal synth twist.

It’s not a vision of a dystopian future but the new normal and Mike Smith under his Crossover Network alias captures the zeitgeist.

Smith’s signature basslines, sluggish drums and stripped down synth work on 'Lose Your Delusion' soundtracks an alienated, synthetic world full of paranoia.

Screeching sirens had woken her in the middle of the night, and now she sat perched at the window peering nosily out of her curtains. The street below had been cordoned off with thick tape and a white tent had been set up a little further down the path. She couldn't make out exactly what was going on amongst the sea of uniformed men and haze of blue and red flashing lights, but she knew it wasn't good. It wasn't good at all.

Athens-based producer Anatolian Weapons has been churning out the releases thick and fast, the next of which lands on Milanese imprint Marguerite Records. Marking the 9th release on the label, following a series of V/A releases and an instalment from Raw Ambassador and Antonio, the three originals on Blood On The Pavement are inspired by an imagined, distorted crime scene. Navigating industrial and EBM, from a trippy 303 workout to a stripped down version, backed up on the flip by two reworks from Nashville artist Daniel Holt.

I am breathing electronic music since late 70s and that's over 45 years now. From Kraftwerk, Jean Michel Jarre, Mike Oldfield, Depeche Mode, Erasure, Yazoo, Alphaville, Men without Hats, Nitzer Ebb, Die Krupps, Front 242, Anne Clark, Camouflage, Gary Numan, OMD, Apopytygma Berzerk and even the Commodore 64 demo & break dance scene to more contemporary Electronic music artists, I witnessed the evolution of Electronic music, which basically means I am an old fart and consider myself an authority in this music genre 😵 Currently I listen DnB almost exclusively. But I do not like to restrict myself at all, enjoying flavors like Electronica, Trance, Psytrance, Tech House, Dubstep, Deep House, Future Pop, Trap, Techno, UK Bass and of course EBM/Industrial as well.

What you will find in my likes and playlists is the top of the crop in Electronic Music, I will  absolutely not list any bullshit. A track I have not listed might be just that: Bullshit, just mediocre or an artistic gem which I haven't discovered yet.
