End Of Level Boss is a joint project from Cyclonix and Tusk celebrating the world of video game technostalgia through electronic music. End of Level Boss follows up it's successful debut Ganondorf EP, with the Scorpion EP. The EP is named after the resurrected ninja from Mortal Kombat, who is the game's greatest anti-hero, with the battle cry "vengeance will be mine". 

The Scorpion EP features tracks by Si Murray (of Deep Space Orchestra)  who delivers a bass synth monster under his Mogadishu Young Team persona, Canadian producer Robert S who drops some steppin' techno heat, label boss Cyclonix who drops a leftfield analogue beast, and new-comer Newcomer Nant Rouge who delivers an epic hypnotic synth driven journey.

The tidy little San Franciso imprint, Dream Chimney, hosts a charming collection of lo fi fusion cuts from Parisian artist, Sim Fossil.

Entitled ‘Tidal Figures’, the EP spreads out across 4 original tracks with remixes by Balearic luminary Max Essa and Project Sandro. This EP showcases Sim Fossil's deft ability to weave a sound that is both nostalgic and forward-thinking, electronic yet gently fluid. It’s a deep dive into synth heavy melodies, hazy cosmic clouds, and echoing basslines.

It was hard to see the ripples of the water but for the occasional flicker of the headlights which whizzed by up there on the overpass. Some people came out here from time to time to spot the northern lights but there wasn't much moving in the wayward sky this evening. 

There was a near silence in the air, the occasional scream of something wild in the woods in the distance would echo across the snow capped fields. 

He took a deep breath and watched as it filled the air with fog.

Reims based imprint Partyfine is headed up French super talent Yuksek and was established in 2013. The label takes a hands-on approach with its releases recording, mixing, mastering, and distributing, all under one roof. Partyfine is not bound by genre and was designed to showcase Yuksek’s diverse musical palette. Next up on the label Jimena Angel makes a second appearance with the first single from her full-length album that is set to drop in the fall.
 
Colombian artist, Jimena Angel, is a singer, producer, guitarist, and DJ from Bogotá with a talent for producing a very unique sound; a touch of Bullerengue and new Latin electronica coupled with a talent for writing catchy Colombian songs. Since 2007 Jimena has been developing her solo career releasing three albums, multiple singles and has been nominated for a Latin Grammy. With countless tours and festival appearances, she recently played a live performance atGlastonbury, Roskilde, Foreztival and Guts Presents Around Pura Vida.
 
‘Telepatia’ is a song about falling in love. That stage of romance where the obsessive fascination for each other goes deep, and the connection is so strong that there is a telepathic language between you. The music was inspired by the African ‘Highlife’ that Jimena so loves, but maybe because she’s Colombian, it went a little bit deeper to the side of Colombian Champeta and one or two other Colombian pop ingredients that are already present in her DNA. The original gets treated to a remix by Batida. Coming from the thriving Lisbon scene, Batida (Pedro Coquenão) sprinkles the frenetic Kuduro with infernal digital beats, and the rhythmic Semba de Luanda with electro rhythms.

Dream Chimney proudly presents ‘Tidal Figures’ the new EP from Paris based producer Sim Fossil. The release is a deep dive into cosmic soundscapes, synth melodies, heavy basslines weaving together elements of house, nu-beat, and ambient into a truly unique, low-BPM fusion. Across four original tracks, ‘Tidal Figures’ explores a quiet duality of space and time. ‘Echo Marina’ and ‘Nyrosine’ bask in a soft, melodic glow, while ‘Null Meridian’ and ‘Backcurrent’ plunge listeners into a darker, even slower synthetic haze. The tracks are all driven by deep, slow basslines and shimmering synths that feel heavy and submerged, reminiscent of a half-speed Harold Faltermeyer adrift in an underwater voyage.

Humble B Flats - Blessings of Sun double disk, coming out on Pond Life Records is a sonic spiritual voyage and document of the artist's last three years, overcoming grief and challenges - while deepening a sense of gratitude for the teachings and learnings along the way.

Across six tracks, a dream unfurls into sound – patterns emerging like scattered water droplets, a flowing dance of chance and texture.
For Turmalin Dub, Tom of Terram (an alias of Tom Sprenger, one half of Hektisch Sprengen) teams up with Listensport. This EP flourishes in the fertile space between the organic and the synthetic, where textures breathe and rhythms pulse like living beings. It is shaped by five original creations and a ’90s-inspired French Dreamspell house remix by RAMZi, carrying the timeless spirit of the dancefloor.

Turmalin Dub stands as a musical crystal, refracting light into deep colour and pulse; a fortress for the spirited and unconventional, an elegant tapestry of sound. The opening track weaves psychedelic hues with Balearic warmth, dubwise basslines, and whispers of slippery roots-reggae dub. Trance-inflected echoes flow together like water: from immersive ambient waves to intricate patterns and softly blurred dub techno. You hear a pulsating rhythm. What does it mean when the intensity rises? Is it the blood rushing from the sound of the drum that brings meaning or is it the anticipation of what’s next?

Kasra V’s returns to his budding V-sion imprint with its third installation. This latest offering brings us to the totality of physicality, where grooves and melodies do not require a resolution. The tracks bring to mind the unbridled maverick spirit of early Techno and Tribal House where the rulebook was tossed into flames and only the unfettered psyche remained.

Keeping the spirit of experimentation alive, Kasra’s affinity for manipulating samples and sounds in obscure ways shines through with playful nods to both industrial and early Midwest dance music alike.

Unchaining the shackles of where dance music has gone wrong, Kasra is trying to maintain the connection to a time when bodies moved to the beat religiously and held reverence only for the speaker stack.

The light shone hazily upon the cliff face. Was it a vision, a dream or reality. The holographic principle would be the only way to determine whether this was simply a figment of his imagination or a bitter fact. The rock was awash with the beams of light from above and it cast a spell across the village which sat in its wake. No grass grew and no wind blew upon this desolate land. The people who lived there were buried under fear but the holographic principle might save them. 

Cyclonix is set to release a four track EP on Talahachi. Having previously released music on the likes of Ruff Draft, Horn Wax and Disconnected he now returns with some experimental electrics for the obscure minded.
