It feels as though most summers here in good ol' Blighty are a bit of a no summer. Sure, by now it may be September but following on from a May in which every one of us enjoyed bright, heady days we've had a bit of a lull and it seems as though Mr Sunshine has decided to pass over London's grey skies for another year.

Still, no harm in partying in the dark and the rain is there? We might as well all jsut take to the streets and celebrate the rain - that'll confuse those in charge of the weather. Failing that, we'll write a strongly worded letter and get all of  our friends to sign it ten times with a bunch of fake signature. Surely 20 signatures is enough to spark a response? Anyway, here's your first chance to get a taste of the debut Sprechen release as we present to you Damon Jee's sound, transformed by Hardway Bros and featuring Duncan Gray.

Bufi has officially announced his third album, ‘México 70’​, due this year on his own Duro imprint. “Máquina Del Ritmo” is the stellar first single from the forthcoming album.
This is an Italo-disco pop song with catchy vocals, fashioned just to make us feel a bit warm among these cold times. The three-track EP includes a dub mix and a more futuristic dance floor oriented remix from Calypso’s founder, Thomass Jackson, in collaboration with Theus Mago.

The summer months always enable the Futureboogie label clan to recharge batteries (whenever possible), hit the festival circuit with aplomb, and pull out another Summer Riot EP, and, as ever, a team of the label’s favourite producers are assembled to deliver the goods.

Christophe leads the charge with the decidedly bleepy ‘Unity Vibez’, channelling the old school Sheffield sound through a myriad of breakbeats, floating keys, techno DX bass and spiralling melodies for a track that’s just as much in the present as it is in the past.

Already with two Futureboogie singles under his belt, Kiwi makes a sterling contribution to the seventh Summer Riot EP with ‘Abaco’. The electro tinged beats and rasping synth lead menacingly unfurl as a transcendental melody plays out over this distinctly potent track.

Neil Diablo completes the EP with the Italo driven ‘Shot Caller’; thick arpeggiated synths coil around beefed up drums as percussive elements get a good reverb soaking, intense and highly infectious stuff from Monsieur Diablo here!

Bufi is back with ‘México 70’ a new album, a couple of years after his sophomore LP on Discotexas ‘Revelación’.

With a broader, more eclectic palette of sounds and rhythms, this time the music gets infected with cowbells and bongoes, prehispanic samples, funky guitars, "guapachoso" basses and ethereal vocals. From the pseudo cumbia of "Hillalum (Amazónica)" to the suicidesque jam of "Impresionistas", this addictive album will induce you to have a lot of fun from the beginning till the end.

The artwork is a design by portuguese artist Braulio Amado, responsible for the covers of Bufi's previous two singles extracted from this same LP, "Brujerías" and "Hillalum (Amazónica)", released late 2018.

Come on in! One Swallow Doesn’t Make A Summer Part 1 is a Various Artist sampler off a hypothetical mixtape. The international cast: Zombies in Miami, Alan Dixon, Storken and Hokaiido. The plot: electronic Disco in its broadest and maybe post-modern sense. There is the drum mix to Alan Dixon’s previously released beetles masterpiece „Ambient Braindisk“, the hypnotic wrap that is „Panoramica“ by Mexico’s cutest duo (ZIM), the Gerd Janson Boiler Room approved smash hit „Lille Vals“ by Swedish newcomer Storken and disco trance from the mysterious outfit Hokaiido with „Talisman“. Dance, dance, dance!

Title track Altered Beats is one of the most unique things we've ever heard, pumping, broken beat, acid rave style vibes leads into a monster chug drop with insane synth work throughout.

Future Express retains the uniqueness and goes straight in for the italo/cosmic vibe with a stunning breakdown that is straight out of Streets Of Rage but with added whallop & thud...this has got to be heard to be believed.
