Obergman - Mirror Counterpart (Pariter)

There's something that makes the deep lo-fi house so pleasant to listen to. Whether it's long, lush pads, pounding drums paired with rolling basslines, or sampled melancholy vocals, the lo-fi deep house always carries a specific emotion that works magic on the dance floor. In the past two decades, the German house music scene had a significant impact on the genre itself, specifically several labels coming from Leipzig, like KANN and Uncanny Valley, to name a few. 
Today's premiere has a Leipzig stamp all over it. 'Lagrange' is a part of a five-track EP, 'Droptop Rain Drive' by Marvin Boettcher, scheduled for release on April 22 via Leipzig-based 04177 Records. 'Lagrange' uses all the aforementioned ingredients for a bouncy lo-fi house journey which, with its vocal samples, is perfectly reminiscent of a magnificent map.ache's work. 
'Lagrange' and the rest of the 'Droptop Rain Drive' EP will be a great addition to any DJ sets on rooftops or backyards.

For their second installment, the Chateau Chépère crew brings on-board legendary producer Stephan Laubner under his STL moniker with four time-warping pieces of music. With his distinctive and intricate sonic palette, Laubner extracts different musical colors and shapes from his hardware to produce singular atmospheres.
'Eargrind,' our premiere today, is an eerie, laid-back Detroit-leaning lo-fi house track with the outdoor dancefloor in its DNA. 
'Eargrind' and the rest of the 'Partial Light" EP came out on Chateau Chépère on June 20.

001 - Forum EP

The rumbling motion of wheels upon steel left a faint hum in the late evening air. The night train was passing through a town near you on its merry way to paradise. The kids took to the streets to watch the steam bellow from the towering chimney aboard. The pink sky was filled with a thick dense cloud as the noisy machine roared through the quiet night. Inside the crowds observed famous diners eating delicately behind the tinted glass, their faces obscured by the shadows. 

Dj Booth is set to release a new EP on Basic Moves, an up and coming record label operating out of Belgium. The EP features two choice club focussed cuts with subtle undertones.

Up next on Trouble Maker we have got some intergalactic riddims courtesy of newcomer cosmic weirdos - Extra Terrestrial.

The aptly named 'Renegade' keeps things cool on the inside and rowdy on the outside - electro vibes with a certain garage flavour. On the flip, black hole banger 'Satisfaction' takes a trip around Jupiter and finds itself disco dancing amongst the stars with unidentified alien objects.

This one also comes equipped with a smokin’ remix from someone who definitely knows a thing or two about inter-dimensional space travel - Mr Carl Finlow aka Random Factor aka Silicon Scally aka Voice Stealer - who serves up exactly the kind of quality you'd expect from the captain of the Starship Enterprise.

The truth is out there.....
