In the quaint town of Gilbert, the fascination for low-flying objects was innate. Every weekend, children gathered at the meadow, eyes fixed on the sky. One summer, a peculiar contest stirred excitement. The challenge: design and launch a homemade aircraft. Determined, they crafted paper planes, intricate kites, and even tiny parachutes. As the sun set, their creations took flight. Laughter and cheers echoed, mingling with the rustling leaves. These moments of pure joy highlighted the innate creativity within them. Gilbert became a symbol, where soaring dreams and friendship intertwined, all propelled by the magic of those low-flying wonders.

Lunatic Music’s second release is the debut from London-based Tokyo-born producer DJ Himitsu ( @user-796730172 ) 

DJ Himitsu played a tune so absurd,
“Acid Three” on repeat, oh my word!
Lunatic Music took us on a ride,
Beats and rhythms dancing side by side.

The moon joined in with a laugh so bright,
Stars grooved along, oh what a sight!
Himitsu scratched vinyl in the cosmic sea,
A nonsensical jam for you and me.
 

We’re premiering the percussive acid of “Three Acid,”. The EP also features a remix from Dexter Gregg under his Solid State guise.

PREMIERE: DJ Himitsu - Three Acid [Lunatic Music]

Que Sakamoto and Carrot Green have teamed up on international waters to present an EP featuring two originals and two remixes, released by São Paulo's Gop Tun label.

Their collaborative work draws inspiration from their shared experience at the Bruma Festival, a three-day music event set amidst the lush mountains in Silva Jardim, a two-hour drive from Rio de Janeiro.

In Sakamoto + NT's original, they blend Japanese-infused breakbeats with Brazilian carnival samples and the distinctive vocals of Eryy.

Carrot Green's contribution, "Domingo a Noite em Silva Jardim," offers an arpeggiated journey through the misty vibes of Silva Jardim city, inspired by the festival's Sunday night dancefloor.

Beyond their originals, Que Sakamoto and Carrot Green also provide fresh interpretations of each other's tracks, with different perspectives on each original song. Dive in!

Tokyo-based Yuto Takei (@yutotakei) 's latest work is an assortment of numbers that represents fairly well his versatility as a music maker. His capability of painting afterglow soundscapes with a cinematic approach is counterpoised by an almost obsessive interest in percussive experiments. The sparse presence of subtle natural field recordings together with vast open sonic spaces is recurrently sustained by repetitive semi-artificial and frantic cosmic repetitions.

Comes with a riso-printed insert, handstamped inner sleeve, and a label sticker.

Since emerging in the scene, Rambal Cochet has ably demonstrated his instinct for different approaches, whether exploring expansive sonic palettes or holding down stages where he has performed. This DJ, producer and versatil music curator, throughout his career, turned his capable hand into a truly immersive listening experience. 

Dolphin's Dance is an uplifting music journey with a flavour of the good old prog sound and a dreamy atmosphere. Volantis & Nicodemo elaborated on the title track stylishly and thoughtfully. The narrative flow in Twisted Reality and Virtual Nightmare uses contrasting ecosystems to glide through distinctive spaces, unfolding with darker vibes infused with style sounds, as in Yello's 90's album "Pocket Universe". The effect is sometimes nostalgic, calling to mind pulsating rhythms, bass lines and hypnotic melodies.
