Dalmata Daniel presents the sixth instalment of their DDS split series, manifesting a relentless torrent of raw, bumping beats and electric thunderbolts: Kraków-based Olivia brings her otherworldly sequences and hazy reverberations, while hailing from Tel Aviv, Rapha delivers acidic treatments and sinister, menacing tones of a dark, untold future.

Side A opens up with ’Freak’, where Olivia’s swirling synth arpeggios quickly aim to enchant all listeners, tangling up their brainwaves with several layers of wicked, throbbing beats. Continuing her witching hour, ‘Odejdź’ introduces off-kilter pulses, cries and whispers in a dungeon, where no one can find the exit. Echoes tremble and screams get distorted in the dark, moist and uncanny aisles of these non-Euclidean spaces. Hyperbolic and demonic, hypnotic and manic: ‘Odejdź’ puts ashes in our eyes and takes us to places we never thought were possible in this bleak realm of our world.

Flip the record, drop the needle and let side B commence: Rapha opens up with ‘Aggressive Disorder’, a hip hop-infused marching beat with cosmic howls and blasting basslines. Next up, as a gargantuan machinery of steam-fueled engines, ‘Bomber Jacket’ takes a confident, industrial maneuver at demonstrating nasty, scattered pieces of percussive grit, simmering its way to a textured and refined amalgam of rough and frantic pulsations. Closing the split release, ‘Access Point’ elevates the voyage to outer space: fresh and squelchy electro patterns kick in right away with sweet, rumbling lower frequencies, and while you may enjoy the interstellar ride with stardust in your eyes, don’t forget to watch out for potential alien screams and growls behind you in the cabin; they should come as no surprise if DDS06 is the OST to your personal, gruesome, galactic adventure.

The restaurant was teeming with wonderful smells that seeped through the doors to the kitchen and filled diner's nostrils. There was nothing more inviting than a freshly prepped dish made with the finest quality ingredients, and this was truly the spot to frequent if this was what you were after. As soon as that first mouthful hit your lips you were in heaven; food truly was the key to anyone's heart.

Miami-based producers DJ Ray and Goiz welcome a new batch of producers for the second instalment in their Club Tools series. Just like their first collection, round two brings a pack of tunes custom-made for the "explorative club deejay", ranging from raw drum workouts to hypnotic, shuffling beats. On this one we're treated to fresh material from a handful of US producers - Miami's Bong Soup, NYC producer Will Dimaggio and Canadian-bred-Berliner Logan Sturrock aka FlØrist - as well as Seoul-based maestro Mogwaa.

Following their debut album ‘Visions Of Ultraflex’, the Norwegian-Icelandic electro-duo serves up a mouthwatering extended remix 12" with two of Norways most distinctively renowned underground producers and DJs. Telephones twists ‘Work Out Tonight’ into a bubbly Balearic Pop block-party, fusing the vibe of NYC Peech Boys, Quincy Jones' 80s productions and Larry Levan's infamous take on Nami Shimada/Soichi Terada, all rounded off with a decadent beatless ambient acid outro mix. On the flip, the norse force that is DJ Sotofett, heavy-handedly rubs ‘Secret Lover’ into an uncompromising chunk of Cosmic Electro, with growling vocoders, rugged drums and stratospheric synths, progressively evolving into a tripped out dub-disco electro-mutant. Johana is a DJ and visual artist from Belgrade, recently based in London, UK. She has been part of the DJ duo Banda Panda for over a decade. Johana ran two party serials; F-Society - whose concept was dedicated to promoting local female electronic DJs and producers and BIPOLAR - focused on bringing more left-field underground international artists to Belgrade. She explores through techno and trance, acid house, industrial, EBM, post punk, downtempo, gloomy disco.

In her decade-long affair of party making, Johana has become a master within the mid-tempo arena. Intricate melodies give color to an overall gloomy and mysterious selection, crafted for dance in pairs. After her move to London, Johana didn't fall for the trends or stray from this path.

Temptation came in many shapes and forms, it was how you dealt with those occurrences that showed your character and  integrity. Whether it was a glutinous dinner, an indulgent purchase or a wandering eye, these were things that could strike at any moment. Some temptations could be flirted with, others could be entertained in moderation but on some occasions you'd be dancing with the devil; dancing in the garden of lust.

In 2016 Dalmata Daniel came into the world with the helping hand of Dutch DJ and producer DJ Overdose. He set the tone for the Hungarian label with his 05 Poly 800 Loop EP and made another contribution to their catalogue in 2019 with a split release alongside Sematic4. Powers of Ten marks lucky number three, and another trip through Overdose's raw, crunchy sound world. Backed up by a remix from local producer and label mate J.Mono, the three original analog tracks are a fusion of EBM, electro and old school vocoder disco.

Dora was beautiful, her hair was long and elegant as she walked calmly towards the field of flowers. A few hours ago she had been flying in the sky, the deep radiant blue had seemed as if it might swallow the plane. However, now she was here, back on earth with her feet firmly rooted to the ground.

The clouds had rolled in, perhaps a reflection of her sombre mood. She stood all alone, a little lost amidst the radiant mirage of colours and pearly flowers which dazzled and disrupted the otherwise grey, beige background.

Perhaps she was one of them too, a bright flower amidst a hazy world.

Zillas on Acid are set to release a new EP on Jennifer Cardini and partner Noura Labbani’s record label Dischi Autumno. This one also features some killer remixes with the highlight coming in the form of a cinematic kraut inspired affair from Lo Kindre who does a spectacular job of reworking the original.

Apocalypse (from Ancient Greek ἀποκάλυψις (apokálupsis) 'revelation, disclosure') is a literary genre originating in Judaism in the centuries following the Babylonian exile (597–587 BCE) but persisting in Christianity and Islam. In it a supernatural being reveals cosmic mysteries or the future to a human intermediary.[1] The means of mediation include dreams, visions and heavenly journeys,[2] and they typically feature symbolic imagery drawn from the Jewish Bible,[3] cosmological and (pessimistic) historical surveys, the division of time into periods, esoteric numerology, and claims of ecstasy and inspiration.[4] Almost all are written under pseudonyms (false names), claiming as author a venerated hero from previous centuries,[5] as with the Book of Daniel, composed during the 2nd century BCE but bearing the name of the legendary Daniel from the 6th century BCE.[6]
