"We are thrilled to announce the release of our resident Shonen Bat’s first album. 
Following his involvement in our compilations and a few brief incursions across the Channel for our friends at Corrupt Data (see his EP “Shades of Disruption”) and GODDEZZ (see V/A “ON+ON+ON”), the 28-year-old producer from Reims eventually reaches the mark of the long-form, with flying colours indeed. In “Infinite Disorder”, he deftly conjugates techno influences, breakbeat, global club and electro with his distinctive rhythmic signature as well as outstanding futuristic aesthetic.

In twelve tracks, Shonen Bat demonstrates perfect mastery of sound design and narration in a fifty-minute opus with strains of solar punk, which resonates both on the dancefloor and your couch. 
An intertwinement of celestial voices, luxuriating pads and synthetic waterfalls with sharp beats and distorted bass precedes moments when the producer playfully stretches time with more ambient phases, before going for it again.
Among the top-flight tracks, you will find an ethereal anthem in “Artefacts”, speedy techno in “Western Nylon Fields”, and feisty breakbeats in “Automata”.

In this emotional roller coaster, the album constantly takes us back and forth between melancholy and euphory. 
Despite this duality symptomatic of our times, “Infinite Disorder” is undeniably a record of boundless optimism, at times bitter but always radiant. Take it as a kind of journal of a young raver who’s found his way through the philosophical values of a global rave culture, without borders, and humanistic."

PREMIERE: Shonen Bat - Find Me In The Rainforest (La Forge)

The rained poured and poured until the sky was drained of any colour, until the grey clouds swamped the earth below. Her mood mirrored it; a reflection of the hardships that had come her way time and time again in recent months. She wished the blue skies would return, that the balmy heat of the sun could shine down on her face once again — how could the weather not play such a huge part in her disposition?

DJ and Rinse France resident Roni launched her Nehza Records imprint in March of this year with a euphoric debut from Bordeaux-based producer and Super Daronne collective member Neida. This gave us a glimpse into the mission of the label which, through a concoction of breaks, acid and rave, seeks to 'question our natural environment through the medium of sound'. Tasked with the sophomore release is Moscow's Rnbws who explores a narrative about the connection we have to earth and the looming danger that confronts us. Dubbing the A-side as 'Dark' and the B-Side as 'Bright', he shares a collection of breaks, acid and house that signify doom and hope, respectively.

Estrenamos el nuevo remix de Voosen, track Nothingness.

En manos de Voosen, el track “Nothingness” se transforma en otra cosa: más impredecible, más sucia, más física. El productor de Gran Canaria cierra el nuevo EP de remezclas de Nau Squaglia con una lectura en clave breakbeat que no se pliega a las formas: las subvierte.

El remix se construye sobre una estructura rítmica fragmentada, cortante, donde los elementos acid surgen como interferencias sensoriales. El tempo no invita a la relajación, sino al desajuste lúcido. El arpegio original —profundamente evocador— se mantiene, pero aquí es tamizado por texturas corrosivas que rozan lo industrial sin llegar a desbordarse. No hay concesión melódica gratuita, todo responde a una lógica de tensión dinámica.

Lejos del warm-up, esta relectura pide espacio en el cuerpo y en la cabeza. Una pieza diseñada no para adornar la pista, sino para retarla.

“Nothingness (Voosen Remix)” estará disponible el 25 de julio vía Lost In Reverie, sello de Nau Squaglia, que con esta cuarta referencia reafirma su apuesta por el riesgo sonoro y la conexión insular.

He walked amongst endless faces, down crowded passageways and corridors in the direction of the night. For the day was done and it was time to drown his sorrows in something sweet. On street corners they gathered, some lonely and alone, others amongst friends and loud voices. He managed to fake a smile, for it was not suitable for a man of his stature to frown. He was the life of the party, the lad of tomorrow, a breath of fresh air. As he marched through the old wooden doors into the drinking hole he let out a jovial shout, yet nobody knew what truly went on behind his eyes, for this was the make of the geez. 

Lifeforms are back with a two track EP from DJCJ, a rigorous electro affair designed to shake small clubs and bounce off the brickwork. This track is called 'Make Of The Geez' and it's as euphoric and poignant as it is robust.
