Regularfantasy is a Canadian producer, and DJ based out of Montreal, Quebec. They are one-half of Plush Management Inc. and the label Plush Records, alongside D. Tiffany. Since their 2012 debut release of "Condobed", Regularfantasy, they’ve since released a melange of dancefloor-inspired music, often including their own vocals. They have spent the last decade shaping their sound, with heavy influences of '90s vocal house, slamming pianos and funky basslines. Their productions carry a distinct DIY ethos, merging nostalgia with dance floor romance, and occasionally infusing a trippy, mellow feel. In 2022, they showcased their refined DJ sensibility and production style with the EP release of "New Glow" on Specials Worldwide. 

Rising from artist-run spaces across Canada and beyond, as both a collaborator and a solo artist, Regularfantasy has remained a strong advocate for other female and non-binary DJs and producers. Within that time they’ve made ongoing contributions to labels including Mood Hut, Heart to Heart, Pear, Banoffee Pies, Sisters of Sounds, Total Stasis, Soothsayer, Specials Worldwide, and Plush Records. Among other projects, they are now preparing for the upcoming launch of their own label, Behave.

Stepping away from the label day job, Duncan Gray delivers an EP for Marseille label The Exquisite Pain. With that title, the track unsurprisingly has a retro slant to it, with FM-style keys and live instrumentation. Full of synaptic high filters and distant guitars that hang then soar, the unmistakeable bass of Mister Gray drives this curious musical timepiece. Simple oriental-flavoured melodies and pitch bent joystick waggles, the beautiful and poignant detail belies its subtle menace.
