Purring and purring, she slinked along the skirting board towards the sweet scent of wet matter. Her blades undulated like a well oiled piston while her fur glistened in the half-light with natural polish. Turning casually to the right, her mirror image twisted back at her. Both froze at once, wide eyes locked. A few moments later, they proceeded to engage in a careful tango before going about their bored business once more.

Yu Su goes deeper into the depths of dub-wisdom with this latest release for Bangkok's Siamese Twins, a remix for Mogambo. The latter are a Thai-based duo pursuing mind expansion and bodily comfort through their outernational brand of psy-tronica and trance. The Chinese producer, though, gives their Goan beach comedown track 'Jeena' a renewed and almost sinister intensity. Unlike the levity of her previous dubby moments, such as her Technicolor outing Watermelon Woman, 'Jeena' is a more frowning interpretation that suits the current social climate: dark, cold and unforgiving.

To honor Stephen and his impressive career as musician with Psyche (together with brother Darrin Huss) and as a solo artist, Artificial Dance decided to release his solo work on vinyl for the very first time. The Galaxy LP is a collection of 6 tracks recorded between 1983 - 2005 selected together with Darrin Huss. Belial, Quest 6 and Eternal City will be familiar to fans of Psyche as bonus tracks on the CD version of “Daydream Avenue”. Marooned In Step Time, Galactic and Rattlesnake are discoveries from solo archives that are being made available on a physical release for the first time.

Stephen’s music was featured on the Artificial Dancers compilation earlier this year and after discovering all the great music he has made as a solo artist Artificial Dance contacted Darrin to work on a compilation. Stephen’s music as the foundation of Psyche is known worldwide, but he kept his profile as a solo artist relatively low. 

Together with Darrin, Artificial Dance selected 6 tracks that give a complete overview of Stephen as a solo musician. These wide-ranging synth instrumentals were recorded between 1983 and 2005 and you can clearly hear the range of talent through the early Psyche influences to his further experiments in the electronic genre. Let Galaxy be your guide into this unique musical experience created solely by Stephen Huss.

Electronic duo Echaskech return to their own imprint VLSI for their first long player, Invisible City. Marking their fourth album, with the other three coming via their regular home Just Music, the 8 tracks across it are composed of a series of recent live performances which have been tweaked, polished and improvised. Sonically it's their most dance-floor focused release yet, merging pounding atmospheric techno with elements of electro, rave, acid and DnB.

U-TRAX proudly presents its first-ever compilation album, featuring a mix of tracks from its 90s roots, as well as new, never before released music compiled by Detroit producer Qmoog a.k.a. Roy Parker. R U There Yet? U-TRAX 20/20 Vision is the culmination of years of electronic artistry into one mixtape by an international collective of producers for the electronic music Utrecht based label U‑TRAX. The collection features artists from across the spectrum of modern music. In the tradition of mixtapes, it showcases a track by each artist that is uniquely different from the other, offering a blueprint for the future of electronic music collaborations. From the moment the quirky label re-emerged in 2018, label boss DJ White Delight has been in touch with many of his old heroes, including Detroit producer Roy ‘Green’ Parker, a.k.a. Qmoog. Parker is best known by techno connoisseurs for his leftfield releases on Rhythm-Tech and SSR, blending jazz and techno with ethereal vocals into unique soundscapes for the discerning listener. When played a few of the forthcoming U-TRAX albums, Parker got enthusiastic about the new direction of the label, recognizing that the crossing of boundaries will be the future of electronic music. That’s when he suggested to create a ‘mixtape’ and eventually wound up curating it. The compilation features eight tracks from the U-TRAX 90s archive by techno favorites like The Connection Machine, Tick Trax and Sonar Base, two tracks from last year (by Sp@sms and P.A. Presents) and four brand new tracks from forthcoming U-TRAX albums. One of which is made by Parker himself, a sensual tech-house hybrid that reminds one of Parker’s fellow Techno City producer Blake Baxter. The mixtape also features an instrumental hip-hop track by New York rapper/producer Thavius Beck, the 80 BPM electro chill-out opener by Los Angeles producer Nuklear Prophet and an upbeat, bordering on poppy remix Dutch electro producer w1b0 made for the band Mr Joe Abe. All tracks received a fresh new mastering treatment by Thee J Johanz of Bally Hoo Studios for this release.

The bell sounded through the corridors, quickly followed by the flinging open of doors one after another. Excited laughter rang loudly around the school, followed by the charge of small feet as they scrambled for the door. For most the end of term meant freedom, fun and new experiences. It meant time spent with family and friends, time spent visiting new places and spaces. But that wasn't the case for some; quite the opposite. School was their only sanctuary.

Hot on the heels of Ed Dix's EP, Playground Records welcome a newcomer to the family, Roam Records and Wonder Stories alumni John Parsley. For his label debut - which also features two remixes from Bird Of Paradise and Local Suicide & Time To Sleep - he brings several different flavours to the table. Levelled up dancefloor rhythms peppered with acid lines and electro arpeggios open proceedings, followed by tension inducing beats that marry distorted sounds with celestial sounds, and intense, downtempo breaks layered with eerie atmospheres and metallic modulations.

"While the first vinyl release of MSQ Records sub label "Rotation Mécanique " is being pressed on the factory, we present you RMR002, which owned by the producer «Aheadacheaday». The album «Naivety» consists of 6 viscous psychedelic dance stories written by the artist and one remix on its main track «Naivety in Cerrocupo» done by the resident DJ and co-founder of the Dusseldorf - based club/ bar "Salon Des Amateurs" Tolouse Low Trax. Throughout the album, we are hearing a subtle connection between contemporary electronic music and psychedelic shamanism, permeated with the caustic sounds of analog synthesizers, live instruments, drum machines with some magical hypnosis added. The final track «Over The Wall» allows the listener to breathe some fresh air and finally free himself from the shackles of the audio ritual described above.

Alberto de Angeli aka Aheadacheaday - half of the experimental audiovisual duo ALAN. You can listen to his monthly Internet Public Radio set Sunday Headaches, a show focused on independent labels’ specials and guests (Sacha Mambo, Gil.Barte, Alex Egan, Charlotte Atomi) or spinning vinyls as a resident at Fred Records (Milan), with a glass nearby.

«Naivety» was released on a limited quantity audio cassette and has the double-page spread in a quality polygraphic. The ultraviolet dyeing on a white audio cassette is another essential attribute of RMR002. The professional TAPE 1 mastering is the beneficial that allows to listen it on some easy household appliances, as well as on any HI-FI / HI-END equipment. And it’s different from the digital sales mastering. We always care about the excellent sound quality of all our releases.
