Leeds imprint Paisley Dark has carved out a reputation for psychedelic chug and shadowy late-night burners, and their latest signing fits right in. Enigmatic newcomer Viper Patrol makes a bold entrance with two originals that are heavy on the acid, low-slung in tempo, and dripping with afterhours intent.
Dancing Voices spirals through mesmeric acid lines and hypnotic percussion, the kind of track that slowly works its way under the skin until the floor is fully locked. Def Charge follows suit with darker propulsion, a driving chug wrapped in trippy, psychedelic textures.
The remix package brings serious weight. Cosmikuro ramps up the 303 pressure, delivering a heads-down workout that’s tailor-made for ALFOS devotees. A Space Age Freak Out flips it dubwise, pushing low-end heft and cosmic atmospherics into a rolling late-night groove. Ian Vale strips back to a shadowy pulse, creating a warped, hallucinatory trip that stays relentlessly floor-focused. And Airsine closes with a Balearic-tinged reimagining, weaving sunlit melodies into a peak-time rush that feels equal parts blissed-out and turbo-charged.
It’s a release that perfectly captures Paisley Dark’s ethos: psychedelic, propulsive, and always aimed at the deepest corners of the night.

After their latest EP Psychic Antenna on Berlin-based R.i.O Label, Brooklyn Electronic music duo brainwave research center returns with their 4th self-released LP, Night Life.
A soundtrack-like selection of vignettes inspired by the sounds of night time creatures and moods, Night Life is an attempt at capturing feelings of existing at night in liminal spaces.
Electronic motifs, rhythms, and textures tie together using various analog and digital synthesizers as well as various found instruments. Primary instruments include ARP 2600, Ensoniq Fizmo, Kawai K5000, Oberheim OB8, Korg MS-20, TR-606, & flute.

Guest Mix 117 is a live recording of the 2nd Blank Wave anniversary event with dear friends and Berlin-based DJ and producer duo Local Suicide who have been active in the electronic music scene since first teaming up in 2008. The Greek-German couple initially gained recognition through their events across Berlin before capturing global attention with their eclectic DJ sets combining new wave, Italo, indie dance, post-disco, EBM, and dark techno.

Recognized as one of the key figures in the dark disco scene, Local Suicide’s impressive discography spans over 200 tracks. Their extensive collaborations include befriended artists such as Curses, Theus Mago, Lena Platonos, Hard Ton, The Hidden Cameras, Rodion, Kalipo, Alejandro Paz, Thomass Jackson, Skelesys & Franz Matthews, with tracks featured on notable labels including Bordello A Parigi, Duro, Ombra INTL, Lumière Noire, Eskimo, AEON, TAU, Space Factory, Sincopat, and Discotexas, among many others.

The hot fire hissed and spat, it's billowing smoke creating a mushroom-shaped cloud in the thick black darkness. The inhabitants of the village gathered around it fixing their gaze firmly on the rising orange flames. In unison they began to chant softly under their breath, barely an audible murmur leaving their lips at first. Gradually their chant grew louder and louder, more venom and passion creeping in with each word. This voodoo ritual took place every evening and for those under their spell, an unfortunate end was certain. 

Stockholm's Tom Tom Disco deliver their first vinyl release courtesy of Hard Fist label heads Cornelius Doctor & Tushen Raï. The pair team up to bring their signature sound to the label via psychedelic rhythms, tribal EBM and cold wave. Lithuanian producer Roe Deers is taking care of the remix on our pick, employing trippy drum work and layering over haunting spoken word.

There was a beautiful light which shone brightly through the clouds as the birds flew amidst the sun kissed sky up above. It was a gorgeous day and the waves moved softly against the sandy shore. The beach was busy with people and sun worshippers who had come to the plaza on an elegant spring break. There was sauce, dancing and intrigue floating upon the warm air and the world was wide open with opportunity and adventure. The sunset would come and they would be lost in the darkness. 

Energizeur is set to release a new EP on La Chinerie, a beautiful sun kissed balearic affair which sits somewhere between the late night adventures on the dancefloor and the early morning sunrise. It's very strong indeed.
