The wind beat heavily against her face, whipping her hair into a frenzy and urging her to squint against its sheer force. Edging closer to the precipice, and peering inquisitively over the cliff face she quickly gulped and shuffled backwards. She considered herself open-minded, up for an adventure, for trying things she'd never tried before, but she had to draw the line somewhere. And this was her line; her 'absolutely not'.

Lithuanian imprint Electric Shapes are no stranger to voyaging through strange, cosmic and alluring sonic terrain to mine for the very best unreleased gems. Their yearly Unreleased Territory compilation gathers artists who are part of their musical orbit, some who you'll see return year on year and others who are fresh faced and make their debuts for the first time. On the fourth instalment of the series, they've gathered a whopping 28 tracks from the likes of Etbonz and Gem Wallow to Dazion and Full Circle who each in turn venture into psychedelic sludge, trance-inducing waters and dark, mysterious lands.

In a world where magic still roamed free, there lived a rare and magnificent bird known as the Kashmiri Red. It was said that whoever possessed one of its feathers would be granted immense power and wealth. Many sought to capture the bird, but it was elusive and could only be found deep in the enchanted forests. One day, a young girl named Lily stumbled upon the Kashmiri Red while on a journey to find her missing father. She was amazed by the bird's beauty and, to her surprise, it granted her one of its feathers as a gift. From that day on, Lily's life was filled with wonder and adventure as she discovered the true extent of the magic within the Kashmiri Red's feather.



Beigean, returns to his own Tava Discs label drawing on his inherited archive of Punjabi folk, Bollywood disco, and encyclopedic knowledge of UK club culture. This release features a quadruple attack of deeply effective, disarmingly personal rave movements.  Beigean's unique  ability to blend cultural heritage with club culture has made him a standout of late.

PREMIERE: Beigean - Kashmiri Red

It were as if he were swimming in some sort of thick soup, the air was exhaustive to breathe and engulfed the senses in a dense weighty fog. It was like moving through heavy cream, weighed down by the very thing which kept him afloat.

He wondered how obvious it was to those all around him, did they notice as he weaved slowly between passers by as if in some sort of dream like haze. Did they notice as he tiptoed between the glow of flickering streetlights as the sounds and sirens of the city all around him swallowed it all up like some sort of pointed shark.

Who knew where his mind was? For he did not...

Kulture Galerie kickstart a new venture with the first release on the new label coming on strong and featuring a heavyweight cast of producers. Abdul Raeva, Gene Tellem and Nesa Azadikhah all feature on the first record on the imprint which is run by Metropolitan Soul Museum.

However, it is the Alien D track which we showcase today, music from a producer who we reckon is one to watch at the moment...

Bristol-based DJ and producer Jamie Paton has been at it for almost 15 years. Starting out as one half of Cage & Aviary - a duo alongside pal George Hoyle who charted releases for DFA, Internasjonal and Dissident - Jamie went on to carve out his own path; one lined with heady, tripped out sounds to move the mind and the body.

Since going solo his music has does the rounds on some of our favourite labels, we're talking Höga Nord, Emotional Especial and the dearly departed Bahnsteig 23.

There's plenty more in the works too. In between his other job as a graphic designer, Jamie's been in the studio cooking up more potent electronics, some of which will soon see the light of day on ESP Institute and Multi Culti, along with another fresh project in collaboration with R$N extended family member, Chez De Milo.

Ahead of all that good stuff in the pipeline, we asked Jamie to supply a mix for us, a task he graciously accepted. Across two hours he takes us down a wormhole of hypnotic electronics, leftfield synth excursions and trippy rhythms. Let yourself get lost....

Last but not least, dessert time! slow and psychedelic version of “Belly Dance Services” boss NICK HANZO and Barcelona based Mexican, LUDVIQ capitan of Bonkers. With modified vocals, understanding the sense of the track and taking us to a percussive journey and captivating rhythm, using elements of the previous version and delivering an excellent dolce performance for the final of the dinner. Riquísimo!

Dan ChiCharron’s EP  “Tourist Trap” captures a quirky and playful electronic vibe, with each track offering its own distinct flavor while maintaining a sense of personality.

Tourist Trap kicks things off as a perfect road trip anthem, with its linear bassline guiding the way. The track carries an acid-influenced edge, delivering unexpected "jump scares" that keep you on your toes, making it both hypnotic and thrilling. It feels like a journey that builds anticipation with every turn.

"No One Care About Your Music" transports you into an oddball, spaghetti-western-esque scene, but without the iconic galloping horses. The distorted lead creates a raw, gritty atmosphere, and the tight, straightforward snare hits add to its punchy, stripped-back intensity. It feels like the intro to something rugged, rebellious, and unexpected.

"Tango Together" is a tongue-in-cheek take on sensuality, almost parodying its own sultriness. The repeating vocal hooks mix with a slinky, seductive bassline, evoking the feeling of a cheesy, low-budget scenario, but intentionally done with a wink and a smile.
The vibe is sexy yet silly.

"Bonne Conduite" plays with the idea of a driving lesson gone wild. The arpeggios create a hypnotic rhythm, while massive, ego-crushing breaks add a surprising weight to the track. It’s as if your driving instructor suddenly pulled off a wild drift mid-lesson, creating a heady, adrenaline-fueled trip filled with twists and turns.

To close the Ep for the first time in the label, hailing from Guatemala, founder of Club Azul Rosa and Club Solemne, also with huge releases on Hard Fist and Belly Dances Services, brings us a very catchy version of “Tango Together”, marking always his Latino sound and his own trippy vocals, perfect to close the Ep.

Mexican Dj & producer Mijo and Berlin duo Local Suicide collide in a wonderfully fresh and inventive collaboration on their latest EP ‚Edo Kai Tora/Ganz Falsch‘. Local Suicide, comprised of couple Brax Moody (Munich) and Vamparela (Thessaloniki), weaves in their signature blend of Post-Disco, New Wave, Jacking Acid, and Slow Dark Techno while Mijo injects his own stylings of the Latin Techno that he helped to define and create.

The result is a spacious, energetic, and stunning product from start to finish. As the latest installment from San Francisco-based label Roam Recordings, which specializes in Dark Disco, Post Techno, EBM, and Acid, ‚Edo Kai Tora/Ganz Falsch‘ is an impressive sonic feat that will leave you dancing all night.

The EP opens with the original ‚Edo Kai Tora‘, an infectious uptempo track with hypnotic, oscillating synths and an undeniable groove. Greek Vamparela of Local Suicide brings her voice to the track. The result is a sultry, spoken vocal that repeats the resounding phrase ‚Edo Kai Tora‘, which in Greek translates into ‚Here And Now‘. The words themselves couldn‘t be more fitting to the overall feel of the project, which has an extremely ‚in the moment‘ sensibility to it. In ‚Ganz Falsch‘, Mijo and Local Suicide revitalize the electronic boogie, keeping things light and fun with a warbling bass hook juxtaposed with a playful, spitting rhythmic vocal.

Supporting the EP, Berlin-based DJ/Producer Sascha Funke along with Moscow Duo Simple Symmetry lend their talents to create standout reinterpretations of both title tracks. Where Sascha Funke fleshes out the darker, cosmic undertones of ‚Edo Kai Tora‘, Simple Symmetry mix in an extra kick of pop and funk sensibilities to the project by layering rhythmic, post-punk garage style guitars into ‚Ganz Falsch‘, bringing to mind the underground indie rock scene of Southern California. The project comes to a delightful close with an additional digital bonus track - an energetic dance version of ‚Ganz Falsch‘.

As a whole, the EP is an electric, collaborative accomplishment of unique sonic character, versatile and exemplifying the best of each producers creative talents. ‚Edo Kai Tora/Ganz Falsch‘ is set for release this July 20th under Roam Recordings.
