After a detour via Moody Records last year, @lehult's main operator @luckycharmzofficial steps up on his label again with 'Failing Upwards', a fine new instalment packed with the kind of laid-back heat that'll help break ice on the dancefloor and beyond.

The jungle was a place not to be taken lightly or with little regard, it was dangerous and had the potential to swallow you up within the misty green vines at any moment. Wild things lurked in the dense, thick bush - things which man had no place in pretending to understand or own. They were free beasts of a different environment. Khan's mantra had always focussed on live and let live, it was not the place to disturb whatever they might find but to simply observe with wonder. 

Tunnelvisions release a new LP on Atomnation, a superb voyage through electronic obscurity with some big room elements thrown in for good measure along the way. Very good.

The rays were shining through the towering window, It overlooked the old church and was the only hint of natural light to be found in this deep, dark gloomy place. There was the occasional flicker of gold to be seen hanging from the tall ceiling, candles danced softly by the corner of the room as people came and went with delicate purpose. They were here to pray and observe the beautiful surroundings, they knew little of what lurked beyond the far wall.

Not An Animal have long been friends of Ransom Note and that's why we are even more delighted when they choose to release a banger such as this. They've also drafted in Roman Flugel and Frank Butters for remixes but the original is the treat for us.

wilma is set to release a new EP on the recently relaunched Multiplex record label, an imprint based in Copenhagen with a superb catalogue. This is a stunning piece of crafty house music on an EP which looks set to soar.

The brain was a complicated organ, it has the capacity to love, forgive and forget. It also had a passion for hatred and jealousy depending which way the wind blew that day. Phase memory was a complicated burden and it had led him down many a dangerous path across the years. Whilst he was settled now he still feared that one day it might reappear to haunt his very being and dismay. Others watched on as he danced high and mighty upon the stage but little did they know of his inner turmoil. 

Gene Tellem is a producer and dj very much on the rise. Having previously released on Project Pablo's Sounds Of Beaubien Ouest she now takes aim with a new EP for London based imprint Wolf Music.

The noise in the jungle was radiant and full of life. It echoed through the ages and cast a spell outwards into the city which sat nestled on the outskirts of the deep green forest. Amidst the trees there was a deep flurry of beautiful life and magical creatures. Water ran gently through long running streams and wild animals gathered at the edge of the river bank to drink. Watching from a whizzing helicopter up high above it would seem like they were from another world. The insect swarmed around the tall trees with a hestitant gaze. 

Spinvis & Vinkenoog are remixed by Sapphire Slows on a new remix EP being released by yeyeh • ninih in the coming weeks. A vinyl only release with a profoundly original edge.

Liluzu’s "What Is Your Star Sign" EP, from burgeoning (dare we say hotly tipped?) label Kalahari Oyster Cult, is a release that tempts the use of a lazy journalistic lens. Here is the latest release from a label that, in a fashion true to its name, has been accruing a small-but-devout denomination of savvy followers since debuting two years ago with Jacy’s “Somewhere In The Tapes” EP. Over the course of 14 releases in that time, Cult, run by Amsterdam’s Colin Volvert, has managed to snag buzzy artists like Roza Terenzi and Urulu. It would be easy enough to pen a write up simply positioning this latest release, from a relatively unknown artist, as another part of the Kalahari story, and little more.Afterall, Liluzu (real name Lachlan McGeehan) has been to this point operating in decidedly “low-key” fashion--dropping occasional mixes on online outlets, managing two releases on his wax label Vulcan Venti, and playing sporadic gigs in the fertile Melbourne milieu that he inhabits.

Based on the strength of this EP, however, his profile may be about to rise.

Wilcoxia poselgeri can be found primarily in South and West Texas, as well as the adjoining Mexican state of Coahulia. Sometimes referred to as the “Lead Pencil Cactus” or “Dahlia Hedgehog Cactus” due to its slender stems and tuberous Dahlia-like root system, Wilcoxia poselgeri grows in the sandy soils of hills and valleys on either side of the Rio Grande. When in bloom Wilcoxia poselgeri produces large, moderately fragrant pink flowers that open during the day and close at night. Initially erect, Wilcoxia poselgeri gradually begins sprawling amongst its surroundings as it matures to support the growing weight of new stems. Regarded as a slow-growing yet uniquely beautiful specimen, Wilcoxia poselgeri’s relative ease of cultivation makes it a remarkable addition to any collection. Our botanists strive to source and produce high-quality specimens to enrich your mind as well as your ears. After many months in the field our team has returned with a diverse selection of sonic seedlings. This Is Our Time welcomes Aspetuck from the US to their label family with 'The Time Capsule Experiment' EP. His three original tracks are ranging from house, breakbeat to electro but all of them come with a nice twist. The EP comes with two remixes. Jeigo's rethinking of the title track is a meetup of two worlds: an aerial stomper for closing your set in the early morning hours.
