Kenya presents her new debut EP for Talking Machine after joining the label crew in 2024, titled Fractal Vision. The EP consists of 3 tracks, accompanied by 2 remixes by Anatolian Weapons and Arvin Fajar. The EP itself narrates about a journey through emotion and experience, capturing the essence of growth, introspection, and transformation, one that creates a dynamic landscape. From every track, it is something that developed naturally through the textures and layers of the sound it self, create something that feels like telling a story through sound.

The EP starts off with Transfer Your Energy with steady bassline that knocks the track gently, keeping the listener on the ground. The dreamy bells that surrounds the track make an important role to the mood, chased by distort sound and noise with on the bridge, an intense acidic layers and synths with high hat that gives house feels to build up the energy itself, caving your ears until it stops.

For the second track is Turbulence, a mid tempo track that gives a sense of hypnotizing along the track, with modulated bassline, atmospheric pads with long decay and subtle granular processing, sporadic high-resonance synth fills for dynamic contrast, and dissonant high-register minor stabs for tonal tension, complemented by organic flow, and stabilized by a classic kick drum for foundational weight.

For the ending, Fractal Vision, an uptempo journey driven by a groovy bassline and some bittersweet background synths to give the sense from the EP itself, layered with snare fills that clash playfully against a trashy front snare, while dual harmony synths intertwine to trigger the emotion, all subtly underscored by a spoken words that deliver thematic messaging without disrupting the momentum.

A transforming beast of a track, it mutates into an intense, acidic bassline-driven force, layered with glitchy electronic synths that guide the listener through a turn-around journey—an invitation to both dance and pause. Smart sequencing sustains tension, building an immersive bridge for a heavy-hitting drop. A short-decay, raw yet polished snare knocks from the back, with mid-tone percussive textures subtly shaping the groove. Perfectly placed hats charge the atmosphere unconsciously—injecting housey. Near the close, a spoken message adds deeper meaning—a final treat before the sound disappears into the ether.

A trance-style synth melody gradually builds up with an opening filter, increasing energy and creating a festive, euphoric vibe—like an outdoor rave. A steady rhythm and acid-style effects swirl in the background, adding depth. As the track progresses, a layered melody slowly emerges, staying strong and steady. A deep bassline quietly supports everything, giving the track a solid foundation. Crisp hi-hats shape the rhythm, making room for key vocal moments that draw the listener in. All the sounds come and go smoothly, keeping the flow tight and intentional.

Raw and immersive, Awara is the latest release (and first self-release) from Partner Music - the solo project of Chris Trowbridge aka Troby, a London-based producer and songwriter. Known for his boundary-pushing collaborations, Troby played a significant role in shaping several standout tracks on Dom Maker’s (Mount Kimbie) Die Cuts—including “F1 Racer,” “Need U Tonight,” “Tender Hearts Meet the Sky,” and “If and When.” He also developed the original concept for the Grammy-nominated single “Loading” from James Blake’s Playing Robots Into Heaven."


Drawing inspiration from Bollywood soundtracks and global rhythms, Awara reframes those influences into a hypnotic, genre-blurring club track with real emotional weight. Blending rolling percussion, cinematic tension and low-end pressure, this song has been made for low-ceiling basements, open-air sound systems, and focused headphone sessions alike.

Their guns had caught the attention of the staff but had ceased to scare the office chief. He had refused to transfer the funds to the account in question and now they were simply stood like a pair of spares in the large empty hall. Marble lined the walls and the floor upon which they stood, this place made them sick. How could an institution with so much struggle to give anything back to those who sat outside the grand palace with nothing. It was time to transfer the currency. 

Gross Net are about to release thei debut album through Touch Sensitive Records on the 25th of November. Drawing upon elements from punk, techno and disco their output is inspired.
