'Everyone’s Already Come Apart' sees the return to Touch Sensitive of Group Zero, the solo project of Belfast-based musician, Cathal Cully.

The Group Zero moniker has been an outlet for Cully to explore a loose experimentalism within electronic production whilst still feeding off the same diet of his post-punk roots: repetition, repetition, repetition.

Four years on from his previous outing for the label, 'Everyone’s Already Come Apart' heralds a shift in trajectory - leaving behind the colder, industrial glaze and softening the angular edges to reveal warmer, psychedelic rhythms - hinting at heady optimism and playful escapism.

These five tracks take us on a trip that both pushes and pulls. Moments of meditative stasis are clipped by propulsive 4/4 grooves. Snatches of heavily treated vocals and keys further the unmapped journey.
We find ourselves in the headspace of those beautiful off-kilter 3am dance floor moments - flickering bright lights arrest us from being lost in fog machine haze. Next, we're soundtracking the patina of those early-morning trails - pushing through nature’s wow and flutter - equally as psychedelic. The call and response pairing of cuts on either side of the record both adds to the wooze and eases the orientation.

“Making music for this record was an exercise in playing for myself alone.” says Cully. “The catalyst for 'Everyone’s Already Come Apart' was a painter-like need for destruction of the canvas - reconstructing previous rough edits and forgotten weirder motifs into something even more unique and beautiful. It was almost more of an exercise in listening than playing. If it sounded weird, then it had to be made weirder. I wanted to let the sounds breathe.”

The shaman uses ceremonies to transform fear and guide others through their own transitions. In ceremonies we learn to be present with the direct experience of fear, even when we want to avoid it.

Sound has long been known to have deep therapeutic qualities. The main element of healing music is the root sound. The focus on one note brings the listener to the present. It is grounding and can induce a higher state of consciousness. Combine that with dancing and you are now moving the energy, freeing your body from stuck emotions.

This is the purpose of this album. These are the tools for the modern shaman.

Aguonėlė (Poppy) was a name of a child who lived somewhere in the fields of Lithuania with her grandparents. The fable says Aguonėlė was haunted by a tricky wolf who kidnapped her and carried into the woods. 
We called a few people we love and showed them the sample of the story that later was used to create this EP. All of them agreed to participate in the ways they could. 
This release was created by the artists, who became personal favourites since the time we met. As a channel, party series, podcast, and freshly formed label, we’re glad to gather those who participated, inspired, and helped us in one way or another. 
Inside you’ll find fine breaks and trance, wavy delics and music to dance. From drum n bass to techno, a bit of house and some downtempo. 
Also, as briefly mentioned above, it’s a debut release for our small group of people who think, share and cooperate for the sake of this project being. 
It’s varied but integral. 
Same, same as us.

They had been walking and wandering through the sandy outback for an awfully long time. It seemed as though they had been on their feet for a lifetime, moving slowly through the desert towards the hope of something more. They needed water, we needed water. The light was dying over the dunes in the distance and soon the sun would be gone leading to nothing but the dense bitter cold of an autumn night. 

Group Zero is the moniker of Belfast's Cathal Cully. This is a new project for Touch Sensitve Records and see's him dabble in experimental electronic flavours - a mutated, abstract, downtempo, dubby, krautrock inspired record which is not but one thing.

Synthetic Ignorance EP by Zurich based @johnparsley is a reflection of the current madness human kind is going through right now. Hyper capitalism, state surveilance, shifting values, mental health disruptions and loss of trust leads us to a new synthetic ignorance in our society. John Parlsey composed his debut release on Lustpoderosa using his very own interpretation of a post minimal wave synth aesthetic. It came out as magical dark and gloomy four tracker which is packed with immersive rhytms, weird staccato voices, claustrophobic acid lines paired with hopeful melodies. This project emerges as the very first Digital/Vinyl on Demand hybrid release by Lustpoderosa. 100 Limited black Vinyl a 140g. Shipping as soon the production is done.

Scratch Massive is French duo Maud Geffray and Sebastien Chenut. For their landmark 2011 album, they were joined by vocal talents Jimmy Somerville, Daniel Agust, Koudlam and Chloe. A new wave and electro masterclass took the band to a whole new level after earlier albums ‘Enemy & Lovers’ and ‘Time’ laid solid foundations.
