Still riding high on the success of their second artist album, Another, Crimea X offer up two more singles from it in the form of A Present and Haunted Love. Ensuring the package is even more essential are remixes from Lauer and non-stop Dutchman Legowelt, and of course it's worth mentioning again that the originals were both co-produced and mixed by Norwegian legend Bjorn Torske.

First remix comes from Running Back and Beats In Space associate Philip Lauer (who also works as Arto Mwambe with Christian Beisswenger and Tuff City Kids with Gerd Janson) and is a deeper, moodier affair. A mysterious kick drum lead groove sets the tone as the original's pianos get vamped up into a more 80s leaning motif. It's hugely engaging despite being relatively slo-mo and is the sort of end-of the night anthem that really sticks in you brain.

Upon the table lay all that they would need. The shakers sat propped within a chalice by the mantelpiece and they would not be requiring their assistance yet. The music began to echo coarsely through the dining hall as the pepper dj spun the sweet sound of love. This was a moment of perfect simplicity and the sound radiated between the warmth of the walls. Couples spun one another widely across the wooden floor and they cried to the heavens up above. 

Hysteric recently delivered an edition of the Ransom Note mix series. A master of the edit and a purveyor of all things fine and disco focussed he now appears on a new release from Edits Du Plaisir.

It won the Amiga tracker music compo at Datastorm 2017 in Gothenburg, Sweden.

This is a song that can be played on a standard unexpanded Amiga 500. The soundchip of the Amiga is called Paula and has stayed pretty much the same since the first Amiga prototype, called "Lorraine", back in 1984.

After putting out Kito Jempere’s stunning Sea Monster album earlier in the year, Hell Yeah now serve up a bunch of remixes from it that have been secret weapons for the last few months. Behind them are Black Spuma, Lipelis and Bell Towers and they all serve up real heaters. First up with possibly their best ever remix are Black Spuma—a collaboration between Phillip Lauer (Tuff City Kids, Arto Mwambe) and Fabrizio Mammarella (Telespazio)—who flip ‘Ampa’ into a bootylicious house cut with fat bass stabs and sci-fi synths. It’s retro in flavour and riddled with melodies that are brightly coloured and emotive, and when the vocal is layered in it helps carry you away on a wave of bliss. For DJs who prefer to keep things raw, a dub version without the vocals is also included and bangs that bit harder. 
Lipelis is a Russian studio wizard and the percussionist from Kito Jempere Band. Famed for his originals on LIES, underrated remixes of MacDonald Flak And The Ack-Ack Packs and for his high impact jams as TMP, he is a real music maniac. Here the Moscow man reworks Lifetime Theme into a cosmic bouncer with taught rubber kick drums and nimble melodies that dance over the beats. His own virtuoso percussion and exotic chords add tropical flavours and the whole thing has corrugated bass that gets right under your skin. 
Lastly, up steps Australian artist Bell Towers from the Public Possession label. His playful version of Lifetime Theme has punchy broken beats and steamy vocal yelps overlaid by big sonorous chords. Uplifting progressions bring a sense of party and big piano chords add another layer of arms in the air fun. Deep but dynamic, it’s a lush track to close out another EP packed with high grade weaponry.

Created and recorded by hordes of sweaty musicians, a handful of talented producers plus a bunch of skilled studio engineers. Edited and adjusted by some Berlin based Belgian (A2 and B1 with the help of a Swede) for maximum disco dancing delight.  "Fuifnummers" is Dutch for "party starters" and that's exactly what you get. label boss @franz-matthews. ‘A Fine Life Remix’ EP sees PYRAME invite four exciting artists to remix this galvanising, cosmic package including Italian artist Rodion who has releases on Gomma and Les Disques De La Mort, London’s
Days Of Being Wild, Love On The Rocks’ artist Omer and French electronic masters Acid Washed, fronted by Andrew Claristidge.

‘Losing Control’ Days of Being Wild remix begins proceedings with effervescent oscillations, ecstatic pads in the distance and undulating euphoria before Omer’s remix of ‘Where Are We Now?’ deploys vibrant percussive loops, fluttering cosmic synths and enrapturing melodies.

Acid Washed then progresses into a chugged-out remix of ‘A Fine Life’ delivering low-slung bass grooves, tranquil pad sweeps and warming vocals until Rodion's interpretation of ‘Platonic’ finishes things off with acid-tinged elements, eccentric vocals from @moonwave_music and pulsating modulations keeping the energy flowing throughout.

An array of beams and city lights flow in a continuous spectrum that dissolves into lines as the car speeds up. It’s only a matter of time before his journey turns into a tunnel of light. Off he goes into the distance to test the space time continuum limits of speed and sound with aboard of his car only courage and humility.”  

For his first EP, Romain FX digs deep in his emotions to pull out four Italo & House infused tracks full of musical surprises.  

The first one reflects the constant speed his home city (Hong Kong) has to offer, the track invokes a dreamy sense of infinite travels and speed. 
The A2 called Kě Ài meaning cuteness starts off as a smooth melodic vibe and get’s more intense in emotions as the track develops, filled with smooth Juno pads and round Korg M1 bass line. 

His third track Fray has bit more of a dark heavy end but still has this signature switch of vibes throughout the track with some more jazzy vibes and surprising little vocals throughout the track. 

And to close of his first EP, Romain FX finishes with a full 90’s dream house track full of flutes to end the ride on a joyful note.
