Following a pair of EPs as Lodger for Stamp Records, Sheffield's Alex Buchan has switched aliases for his next release.

The Slender EP contains three tracks under his Al Zanders persona, including the centrepiece 'I Don't Want To Judge You' – a scuffed up, dreamy and bongo-adorned house cut that recalls Leon Vynehall's fresh-yet-nostalgic vibe.

After a successful summer of Church White releases gathering support from Session Victim, Move D, Galcher Lustwerk and a host of others, Church returns with it’s next offering from Peckham via Auckland brothers Chaos In The CBD. 

Fresh off the back of the Juno number one seller EP 'Midnight In Peckham' on Rhythm Section, they delve into deeper territory with emotive title track ‘Constraints Of Time Travel’. The B-side is a more familiar affair with trademark swingy percussion and expert use of samples providing that deep warm house sound we’ve come to expect from the pair.

The Prodigal Son returns to the label from whence his debut record was released. Live Ones have known Lorca for some 6 years, and seen/heard his sound evolve since their last encounter, back in the heady days of 2010. A lot has changed since, but it seems Lorca’s knack for a melodic hook is impervious to erosion from the sands of times- The tunefully delicate “All My Love” is a testament to the fact.

As the EP title would suggest, this Premiere is one of four odes to the late great prince of soul, Eddie Kendricks. Textures of some of Eddie’s hottest hits are woven throughout every cut, each brushed with a different stroke of Lorca’s artistry. Like one of The Temptations, “All My Love” fits like a glove into one of their infamous purple suits, dripping with pizzazz and swag - finger snapping and swaying for a full four minutes of soulful joy.

Estonian pioneer Raul Saaramets exists in many parallel musical universes and this is reflected in his stellar output as Ajukaja, mining a rich furrow of stand out, oddball yet eminently danceable, groovy house and beat experiments. His Bergerac debut has been a long time coming but well worth the wait. 

Mhmhmh is a super vibey late night burner which quite obviously gets its title from the faintly Germanic, sleazy vocal sample which goes ‘um hum um hum’. 

Sklad trips you out even more with a mangled, ecstasy tinged fading in(tro) which gives you ‘that’ feeling

Ajukaja puts his disco hat on for side 2 with Ekleeer. A super danceable disco cut rolls out until the vocals drop in and you realise that David Lynch is on the remix. 

Walk previously saw light as a tape only track but it’s playful scuffed up jiggery pokery cried out for a vinyl release so here it is..
