Though a few of these familiar and strange remedies had brought momentary relief, it wasn't long before the pain returned in full force. There was just one more option that she had yet to explore, but with this healing power came much risk...

Drawing influence from the uncertain times we've found ourselves in over the last year, Logical Rec bosses Ivan De La Rouch & Mike Sacchetti release their 'Cúrame' EP, which translates from Spanish as ‘Heal Me’. Coming via Play Pal Records, it marks the pair's first outing on the Madrid label and sees them merge hypnotic guitar riffs with analogue electronics, all delivered with a punk attitude. On the flip the two originals get the rework treatment from label affiliate Rigopolar, Italian producer Amarcord, Fucanglong Files boss Mufti and Berlin's Skelesys.

Tulioxi (@tulioxi) is one of the new great personalities of the Italian Nu Disco Scene. He Has published at least thirty works, among EP's, singles and collaborations with other artists. He has established himself as one of the most interesting talents of the new Italian Disco Scene for the last 10 years. His Works are well respected amid the international community of Indie Disco Artists and his name has been circulating into the inner circle of DJs and producers from all over the world.

For the last decade, his released music shows how creative and prolific he is, keeping his productions at a very high level in terms of originality and experimentation, and his search for a personal sound is confirmed in every new work. He is one of the masterminds behind Cosmic Sumo Recordings and one of the developers of MEFF, the annual Modular synthesizer Exhibition Fair in Florence, tied to the brand Tiptop Audio, one of the most popular synth module manufacturers in Eurorack format.

Stockholm Syndrome (@the-stockholm-syndrome) and Tronik Youth (@tronik-youth) form Stockholm Youth, their remix is nothing less than a dark and sinister banger. Deconstructing while keeping a continuous nudge to the original version, they deliver a peculiar track.

Heil from North Macedonia! we present two experienced artists Andreja Salpe X Veselinov with the special EP they baked - "Egypt Disko".

Two original techno vibe tracks and two remixes from the unique Blavatsky & Tolley, and Velax.

The release starts with the title track "Egypt Disko". It does start off as a straight forward techno track with only one destination in mind, even though it's not entirely techno per say, first impressions might often be misleading. Therefore, this to be one of those stand-off tracks between very well-known iconic characters. But the essence of the track takes you to the night and that night takes you on a journey to outer space, puts you in a trance. It doesn't always keep you in this state, it has a tendency to pull you in and then push you out. Have to mention that the name of this tune is not random and you can feel that throughout the whole track/EP. In this case, the sounds defined the name of this track (and the whole EP), not the other way around, even though sometimes the title comes first.

The second original piece of work is "Proggy Disko". At the beginning, it sounds like pure 2000's. And that's great, what was forgotten must be brought back to life. In a present-day and time, we often look for something new, something fresh, but we constantly forget where we came from.
Down to the track, it's more stubborn than the title one. The tension is building up till the end of the track and then and only then it gives you some sort of a peace offering. Sharp modulated synths, simple but solid bass part, and tension in the whole track. Absolutely banger of the dance floor.

Remix by Blavatsky & Tolley keeps the tone of the original track pretty well and it doesn't stray away too far from the main focus of the song. This interpretation is more complex in a way, it has a clear structure. Like all the elements are exactly where they need to be and the addition of the speech is just spot on, so as the other elements that are not present in the original version.

Velax remix of "Proggy Disco" - sharp edges, these are the first words that came out of the mouth. Velax gave this track a boost. When we say boost, we mean - anger.
Naturally followed by darkness. If this was a person, you could say that his/her character shifted overnight, he or she is like a different person. Perfect dark disco work for lovers of darkness.

PREMIERE : Andreja Salpe X Veselinov - Proggy Disko (Original Mix)

Rodion and Fabrizio Mammarella are back with another precious collaboration EP since “Appennini” released in 2012 but never forgotten in the fame.
They have been like brothers for many years, and after many
collaborations, these two producers are well attuned to each other in their musical soul. Rodion and Fabrizio are both very sophisticated producers and known for their dramatic melodies, mixed with synthesized funk and disco, which turns it into emotional freaky electronic music.
All tracks are recorded in Mexico City, bringing in Mexican artist Mijo as a featuring on the track ‘’Cerro Gordo’’. Moreover, italo-belgian duo Front De Cadeaux join with a remix that grabs elements from both the original tracks, reworked in one timeless piece of music.

We are used to know Nothing Is Real records as a meeting point for different touches of electronic music, with an open mind on new sounds and a strong connection to the disco/indie roots at the same time. NIR018 perfectly reflects this character: the EP is signed by the French Joe Lewandowski, an artist that came from rock music as a guitarist in various local Parisian bands, landed later on house and techno, acid and disco areas after he moved to New York.
What makes the main production “Naturale” pretty unique is the bpm slowdown, it makes for sure a great tension on the build up before the drop, so simple and so effective.
“Late at night” has a classic 707 drums groove with a shiny nervous and mystic voice on the top, served with a rolling bass that gives the track a perfect move.
On “Soft Machine” you can clearly notice the rock/indie background of Joe, slow tempo/hyper groove and a super catchy finger bass, arpeggios on top guide the flow during the track.
Last but not least, is “Naturale - Transcendentale Version” by the giant Danish producer Kasper Bjørke. He makes his debut on NIR with a hypnotic rework on the original from Lewandowski with a dreamy pad and his ultra recognizable drum groove.
