Feast your ears on this sublime piece of sunshine-fuelled Finnish pop. Funny how a few solar beams of light outside turn this from glacial to sunshine-fuelled.

Premiere: Jaakko Eino Kalevi - No End (Manfredas Remix)

Colleen, aka Cécile Schott, is really one of those artists where if you know, you know. Her run of albums from 2003-2007, mostly on The Leaf Label presented an exquisite set of dream-worlds, where you could easily drift away on her loops of cellos, bells, flutes and musical boxes. But then a six-year hiatus from the music world made it almost seem like it HAD been a dream. However, she returned with The Weighing of the Heart in 2013, easily up there with her very best work - and now, teamed up with Thrill Jockey, she's showing that she's stronger than ever. This is the first track from her Captain of None album coming on April 7th, and damn, it's beautiful.

Nobody knew too much about Krywald & Farrer when their email landed in our Gmail accounts late earlier this month. They’ve earned their stripes, yes. Their residencies at a number of London’s clubs tell us that story. But today’s debut tells us that they clearly just get a kick out of smushing genres together.

“The People’s Asafo” sees warm house textures flirt with an infusion of Ghanaian beatwork for eight minutes. A coaxing leg-shaker if there ever was one. It arrives on March 30th (via Silver Bear Recordings) and backed by B-side “He’s The Chief” which continues the afrocentric theme with gusto.

Their last three-track 12" arrived in April last year, giving us a proper tasty treat of jackin' house jams. And that's we dig the Berlin-based trio so much. Whether it's through their own releases or superb selection on deck, they always guarantee maximum funky action.

Having been closely involved with the Cómeme label since his debut in 2012, Colombian producer Sano now makes the jump over to Munich's Public Possession for a new EP of latin house/electro flavours entitled 'Latino Body Music Vol. 1'. We're delighted to premiere lead track 'Hasta Abajo' - which loosely translates as "drop it to the floor". Fittingly, there's a sleazy slowness at play, yet the track still seems precision engineered to move bodies from the bar to the dancefloor. The star here is that sinuous little synth line which snakes and flows like a river meander approaching the ocean. Stick it on and strut your stuff.

“Symptoms of Love, a project by Detroit duo Ryan Spencer (Freakish Pleasures) and Ben Christensen (Sector 7G), present “Foam EP” scheduled to drop in January 2020 on Sydney label Planet Trip Records.
