Leeds imprint Paisley Dark has carved out a reputation for psychedelic chug and shadowy late-night burners, and their latest signing fits right in. Enigmatic newcomer Viper Patrol makes a bold entrance with two originals that are heavy on the acid, low-slung in tempo, and dripping with afterhours intent.
Dancing Voices spirals through mesmeric acid lines and hypnotic percussion, the kind of track that slowly works its way under the skin until the floor is fully locked. Def Charge follows suit with darker propulsion, a driving chug wrapped in trippy, psychedelic textures.
The remix package brings serious weight. Cosmikuro ramps up the 303 pressure, delivering a heads-down workout that’s tailor-made for ALFOS devotees. A Space Age Freak Out flips it dubwise, pushing low-end heft and cosmic atmospherics into a rolling late-night groove. Ian Vale strips back to a shadowy pulse, creating a warped, hallucinatory trip that stays relentlessly floor-focused. And Airsine closes with a Balearic-tinged reimagining, weaving sunlit melodies into a peak-time rush that feels equal parts blissed-out and turbo-charged.
It’s a release that perfectly captures Paisley Dark’s ethos: psychedelic, propulsive, and always aimed at the deepest corners of the night.

After their latest EP Psychic Antenna on Berlin-based R.i.O Label, Brooklyn Electronic music duo brainwave research center returns with their 4th self-released LP, Night Life.
A soundtrack-like selection of vignettes inspired by the sounds of night time creatures and moods, Night Life is an attempt at capturing feelings of existing at night in liminal spaces.
Electronic motifs, rhythms, and textures tie together using various analog and digital synthesizers as well as various found instruments. Primary instruments include ARP 2600, Ensoniq Fizmo, Kawai K5000, Oberheim OB8, Korg MS-20, TR-606, & flute.

Guest Mix 117 is a live recording of the 2nd Blank Wave anniversary event with dear friends and Berlin-based DJ and producer duo Local Suicide who have been active in the electronic music scene since first teaming up in 2008. The Greek-German couple initially gained recognition through their events across Berlin before capturing global attention with their eclectic DJ sets combining new wave, Italo, indie dance, post-disco, EBM, and dark techno.

Recognized as one of the key figures in the dark disco scene, Local Suicide’s impressive discography spans over 200 tracks. Their extensive collaborations include befriended artists such as Curses, Theus Mago, Lena Platonos, Hard Ton, The Hidden Cameras, Rodion, Kalipo, Alejandro Paz, Thomass Jackson, Skelesys & Franz Matthews, with tracks featured on notable labels including Bordello A Parigi, Duro, Ombra INTL, Lumière Noire, Eskimo, AEON, TAU, Space Factory, Sincopat, and Discotexas, among many others.

Blank Wave Guest Mix 117: Local Suicide

The flickering light illuminated the forecourt of the airport mall. On the other side of the glass window the engines of flying machines whirred as they prepared to jetset towards destinations unknown. Sunnier climates awaited those who would travel but the hologram would remain a part of this place of departure for as long as days would allow: observed by travellers the world over, it was simply a beam of light in a dim space. Flash, flash, flash.
It is with great pleasure that we are able to introduce to you the first record from the 12th Isle crew: Glasgow upstarts with knowledge which far surpasses our own. For years they have been running parties in the basements of dive bars and beyond, spreading weird and wonderful music with the masses. This year sees them launch their label.

The crowds gathered on the shore. There were people of all races, nationalities, colours, creeds, ages, genders and beyond. The diversity was strong amidst the community of the island. People here did not discriminate, there was no hatred, only love. The dying embers of the fire burnt slowly by the moving tide and they gathered to watch, a community at peace, a people as one. 
That Place Records are based in Lyon, France. Over the past year they have been releasing music alongside a bold blue and white visual representation which has left us intrigued. Previous releases have featured the likes of MZKBX, Visitors For Reworks, House Mannequin and Juliano. The latest release comes from VFR who delivers three choice techno cuts with a melancholic drive which left us enchanted.

A most perilous incident had occured in the laboratory earlier that day. A chemical compound had spilled profusely as part of a mixing error. The floor had burnt away beneath their very feet and the walls had begun to shake. This was a controlled substance, a dangerous presence in any experiment in its own right, let alone its ability to act in freedom. The powder lay scattered across the floor, and metal, wood, plastic and glass began to bubble under its reach. This would burn them all. The mixing error would prove fatal. 
Up next on the Sheik 'N' Beik record label steps Keita Sano. His output since 2014 has been impressive following releases for the likes of Mister Saturday Night, Crowdspacer, Discos Capablanca and more. He steps up and offers four tracks for the New York based label.

The glittering stones lined the path forwards. On diamond lane everything was beautifully fluorescent, they shimmered in the pale moonlight. As they strolled the charismatic tones of the sky whirred above their heads. They were in paradise and the diamonds were watching from beneath their feet. It was glorious. 
Here is an exclusive premiere from the Dutch maestro Tom Trago. He has produced four tracks for Red Bull Studios in Paris which see him dabble across tones of Detroit inspired house and more.

The ups and downs, the highs and lows, the peaks and troughs. Thrills existed everywhere, all around them. There was always more excitement to seek, more chaos to create, more drums to bang and more people to dance. The world kept on spinning, as did each track and they moved forwards together as one. 
We are very excited to be able to showcase the forthcoming JMII release from Spanish stalwarts Hivern Discs. His appearance follows on from releases on labels such as 100% Silk, Subwax and NVH. Listen to 'Thrills' from the forthcoming EP below which is due for release late this month.

This was a place with no darkness, simply endless, enchanting daylight. The voyage might last them a lifetime, they would sail across the galaxies, until they reached the world of noon.
Khidja are seemingly unstoppable at present. Following a string of releases for Love On The Rocks, Malka Tuti, Bahnsteig 23 and more they have decided to launch their own label alongside Borusiade, The Holy Fix and Utopus.
