In the wake of their widely-acclaimed album Union, JUNO-nominated duo Èbony rematerialize on the dancefloor with the otherworldly Shades of Meridian EP, projecting a waking futurist dream haunted by echoes of Detroit techno, Chicago house, South African melodies, and the rich mythology of Ancient Toronto. 

Opener “Break My Skin explores a hidden pocket of after-hours techno space-time with an ethereal vocal by James Baley, leading into the tense, disembodied jack of “Forever.” Next, “Dull Side First” rides a spectral break through a sepulchral warehouse trip, “RIFT” invokes peak-time witchcraft, and closer “My Daylight” entrances even the most self-possessed sound-and-lighting guys to spam the smoke machine until reality itself is occluded. 

And to those who say that working with JUNO-nominated artists proves that Turbo is just a cog in the CanCon cabal, we would like to familiarize you with the facts: Canadian Tire refused to carry our 2023 Bryan Adams remix LP and we have rejected five separate demos from Justin Trudeau’s tech-house alias “Arabian Nights.” It’s called integrity — try looking it up sometime.

"Musique Pour Enfiler Des Perles" is the third EP by Poison Gauchiste, aka Eric Labbé, following "Musique Pour Faire Différentes Choses" and "Musique Pour Monter En Haut". It is the result of a slow maturation process, shaped by summer idleness and long winter evenings over the past two years. The EP features five compositions that, as always, blend quirky influences with distinctly personal oddities.

Caution: several of these tracks contain rhythms that might inspire dancing — though it’s unclear whether listeners will actually follow through, given the spells of languor and melancholy that occasionally drift onto the dancefloor...

Berlin-based producer and DJ Elninodiablo (aka Stephanos Pantelas) unveils his most personal and unrestrained release to date: The Downey Groove, arriving September 19 on his own label, El Niño Diablo Music. 

To mark the debut album release, he’s throwing a party at Lunchbox Candy, the queer-led night he runs at Kreuzwerk that’s quietly redefined Berlin’s underground. With 2K+ crowds, wild performances, a sex worker-run Loveroom, and regulars like Peaches, it’s one of the city’s most in-demand parties, now headlining WHOLE Festival and on the radar for Sydney Mardi Gras 2026.

Conceived during an extended solo stay in the mountains of Cyprus, the album emerged from a period of deep introspection and play. With only a laptop, headphones, and a field recorder, Pantelas shed expectation and allowed intuition to guide the process. What began as informal sketches gradually evolved into a full-fledged album—loose, soulful, and steeped in feeling.

The result is an eight-track voyage through dub-drenched electronics, warm psychedelia, and sensual grooves, rich in texture, full of emotional nuance, and anchored by rhythm. Opening track ‘Purple Hypnotic’ sets the tone with woozy pads, aqueous textures and whispered fragments, before ‘Misteriosa Noche’ flips the vibe with a shimmering, funk-laced swerve. ‘The Soul Monad’ invokes the spiritual influence of Eno, Byrne and Sherwood with a bass-heavy, ceremonial dub, while ‘Subadrift’ offers up a spacey, synth-driven lift-off that draws on echoes of ‘80s/‘90s electronica.

London-based DJ duo, producers, and curators Earthly Measures announce their debut EP, ‘FROM EARTH’, landing August 8 via Oath. The six-track release is a vibrant statement of intent: a celebration of rhythm, collaboration, and borderless sound.

Leading the EP is the electrifying first single ‘QUE?’, featuring Colombian artist OKRAA. It’s a kinetic fusion of Afro-Latin percussion, live textures, and UK breakbeat energy, anchored by a looping Fela Kuti sample that pulses like a heartbeat through the track. A psychedelic, bass-heavy trip built for movement.

Across ‘FROM EARTH’, Earthly Measures chart a path through deep grooves, organic instrumentation, and global club culture. Each track is shaped by cross-continental collaboration:

‘THIRD TRY’, created with Chile’s DJ Raff, is a hypnotic, slow-burning roller that blends warped synths, sub-heavy basslines, and Latin rhythmic sensibilities with mystical restraint.

“EARTH GROOVE”, made with Argentinian producer Balam, hums with ancestral echoes and future-facing energy: a ritualistic low-end meditation finally emerging from their archives.

The EP also includes three powerful remixes that reimagine the originals through fresh lenses:

Berlin-based Olsvangèr brings a dubbed-out, textural warmth to ‘QUE?’ with his Wildwood Dub.

Sun Sone’s remix of ‘THIRD TRY’ leans into bright percussion and open-air energy.

Jinje closes the journey with a kaleidoscopic, peak-time rework of ‘EARTH GROOVE’, lifting it into euphoric new terrain.

As longtime champions of globally inspired dance music, Earthly Measures have spent years cultivating a platform where sounds from across the planet collide — whether through their label, DJ sets, or live showcases. Now, with ‘FROM EARTH’, they step into the spotlight as artists, weaving together the rhythms and textures they’ve championed into a cohesive, forward-facing release.

PREMIERE : Trax Unit - Twister

Almost a year after the release of the EP Transmissions, acclaimed upon its release by France Inter, RTBF, Tsugi Radio, Pedro Winter, among others, the DJ and producer duo Housecall is back with a special remix reissue, made for the dance floor.

Four artist friends each reinterpreted one of the tracks from the original record. This includes a progressive house remix by NairLess, a UK bass remix by Versant, a dark disco remix by Sapphist Eye, and a groovy house remix by Charleeps. To close this musical chapter on a high note, Housecall delivers an original track, a flamboyant disco rework of the outro Répertoire.

Transmissions Remixes will be released on Wednesday, September 24, followed by a release party at Superflu (Paris 18th arrondissement) on Saturday, September 27, from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

The jungle was a place not to be taken lightly or with little regard, it was dangerous and had the potential to swallow you up within the misty green vines at any moment. Wild things lurked in the dense, thick bush - things which man had no place in pretending to understand or own. They were free beasts of a different environment. Khan's mantra had always focussed on live and let live, it was not the place to disturb whatever they might find but to simply observe with wonder. 

Tunnelvisions release a new LP on Atomnation, a superb voyage through electronic obscurity with some big room elements thrown in for good measure along the way. Very good.

The rays were shining through the towering window, It overlooked the old church and was the only hint of natural light to be found in this deep, dark gloomy place. There was the occasional flicker of gold to be seen hanging from the tall ceiling, candles danced softly by the corner of the room as people came and went with delicate purpose. They were here to pray and observe the beautiful surroundings, they knew little of what lurked beyond the far wall.

Not An Animal have long been friends of Ransom Note and that's why we are even more delighted when they choose to release a banger such as this. They've also drafted in Roman Flugel and Frank Butters for remixes but the original is the treat for us.

wilma is set to release a new EP on the recently relaunched Multiplex record label, an imprint based in Copenhagen with a superb catalogue. This is a stunning piece of crafty house music on an EP which looks set to soar.

The brain was a complicated organ, it has the capacity to love, forgive and forget. It also had a passion for hatred and jealousy depending which way the wind blew that day. Phase memory was a complicated burden and it had led him down many a dangerous path across the years. Whilst he was settled now he still feared that one day it might reappear to haunt his very being and dismay. Others watched on as he danced high and mighty upon the stage but little did they know of his inner turmoil. 

Gene Tellem is a producer and dj very much on the rise. Having previously released on Project Pablo's Sounds Of Beaubien Ouest she now takes aim with a new EP for London based imprint Wolf Music.

The noise in the jungle was radiant and full of life. It echoed through the ages and cast a spell outwards into the city which sat nestled on the outskirts of the deep green forest. Amidst the trees there was a deep flurry of beautiful life and magical creatures. Water ran gently through long running streams and wild animals gathered at the edge of the river bank to drink. Watching from a whizzing helicopter up high above it would seem like they were from another world. The insect swarmed around the tall trees with a hestitant gaze.

Deep inside the industrial compound there was a siren which would ring from dusk until dawn - it monitored who came and went alerting security guards to the threat of the world outside. CCTV flickered in the corners of the site watching every tiny movement within the space. It was not a special sort of place, more so a prison in which bad things were left to rot. As he closed the large metal gate upon his exit he shivered slightly under the ominous cloud which had hung present above his head. Another day was dead and a new may begin soon....

KLEFT is set to release a staggering, aggressive, mutant of an EP on Glasgow based Domestic Exile. Vickie McDonald is rooted in and has actively propagated the underground DIY radical queer punk and feminist movement in Glasgow. The sound across the record is big, bold and abrasive.
