'Myths of East' is the debut EP by Vuta, producer from Belarus. Different cultures, orientalism and ethnic flavors inspire him to develop his own sound. The three tracks that make up the release blend sampled vocals, organic rhythms and mysterious melodies with references to sounds from the Middle East, Africa and Asia. His music transports us to exotic scenarios of vibrant energy, making it great for smoky dance floors.

Entering the remix world for the first time, at Fauve Records, it was important to create a panoply of genres. We thoroughly selected 4 remixers for The Drive [Re-Mix] EP.

On duty first is Lauer (Running Back) from Germany who needs no introduction. To our eyes, his recognisable touch was perfectly fitted for the title track “The Drive”, nostalgia was the approach, long build-ups bringing you into a melancholic trance"  Romain FX.

There was a darkness which hung thick in the air as he approached the old church on the hillside. He looked back down at the footpath upon which he had tread several miles in search of this ancient ruin by which he hoped would lead to salvation. His name was Steve. It had always been as such and he hoped that as he entered the pearly gates of heaven that it would remain as such. As he opened the creaky old door to the monastery he prepared to leave this earth for good, all its ungodly mess. 

Throne Of Blood have been good friends of Ransom Note for many years and they release some killer music. Their output and consistency has been phenomenal, championing alternative electronic and dance music which has then gone on to receive support from wide sectors of the community. The latest is no exception, a collection of remixes of a track simply titled "Steve" by which Vito & Druzzi are contributors.

In the final curation of 2020 we raise a glass to Takis Shelter with a diverse collection of jams showcasing everything from blissed out jazz, funked up house, rich balearic trips and a little sprinkle of joy inducing disco. These come from a selection of our good friends across the planet who have kindly contributed their tracks to make this release happen, a big thanks to the time and effort that everybody has put into this.
100% of the proceeds from this compilation will go directly to Takis Shelter. As someone who has their roots in the music scene, Takis turned his attention from partying all night whilst running his own nightclub, to well, partying all night with more than 450 of dogs and cats that he saved from landfills and rubbish dumps in Crete. After giving up everything he owned to open his shelter, he nearly had to give up the refuge but donations made it possible for him to go on.
This compilation is a nod to all the incredible, selfless work that Takis has put into caring for these animals and will go towards ensuring they are looked after, fed and can eventually find their way to a new loving home. To find out more and donate directly go to takisshelter.org/
