Hailing from Sydney, Jerk Boy has amassed a credible catalogue of modern Disco music, the contents of which can be huddled together under the umbrella of 'music for good times'. He knows exactly how to move floors and his next single featuring Irfane is case on point.

Best known for his collaborative work with Ed Banger mainstay Breakbot who he toured with extensively - Irfane has also worked with Hudson Mowhake and remains a deeply versatile vocalist. Together the duo lay out 'Something Isn't Right'; a classy cut with an easy, free-flowing energy.

A trim and shifty bass line pops and flexes under a finger snapping snare and sixteenth-note shuffles. The groove is effortless as is gently segues through sections of chordal chimes, vocal refrains and flashes of melodic expression with just enough drive and force to keep the vibe buoyant throughout.

A radio edit and an instrumental offer options for DJs who will no doubt pull it for it's fun, addictive and softly rapturous spirit.'

Straight from Copenhagen, Danish DJ/producer B From E delivers an EP that sits halfway between Trance and House. With deep melodies and infectious rhythms, Blue Lava opens a portal to a new world — both icy and fiery. Split into two parts, the A-side burns with energy, while the B-side shines with luminous melodies.

Hypnotic, the arpeggio of Arp Dream never leaves the track and opens the B-side of the vinyl. The drums evoke the energy of an erupting volcano where the melody of the track would represent the blue lava flowing poetically.

It’s been 6 years now since our last collaboration with Roar Groove and The Revenge in 2019.
So it was about time to unleash some new heavy hitters by this House master. 

With the opener “Twisted Signal” this EP sets the pace and tone to spiraling and pulsating sines, great grooves and
hypnotic vocal use. Dark dance floor material at it’s best! Followed by the deep “Spiral Highway” the a-side is one long live jam.
On the b-side we take back the pace and make it groovy-er with the House cut “Open Your Eyes” in a true classic “Revenge” style. Closing out with the excellent lush journey that is “Your Life”, bringing back again his great vocal sample use and adding deep soulful chord flavors.

The age of the three-minute pop song may well still be upon us yet it is only once we free ourselves from these restraining shackles that we're able to delve a little longer into a song. Imagine that everything in your life that used to take three minutes was now drawn out by an extra ten minutes. True, it would make things like boiling the kettle an awful lot harder but surely it would also give you an appreciation for the little things in life, no?

Just think about how much time it would give you to explore the world if you had that precious time while you wait for the mundanities of everyday life to be done. You can flick the switch to start boiling your cuppa and then go out into the world for a brief stroll, meeting new people and seeing new sights.
