Speculation and anxiety fuelled much of her day-to-day; though little changed in her routine, the fear something would throw a spanner in the works continued to plague her mind. She was bound by ritual, in work and play, and anything that diverted from it seemed to throw her life into disarray. But that was no way to live; excitement came in spontaneity and surprise, knowing that everything could shift within a nanosecond...

After the success of their first SHOUTS compilation, which marked their five year anniversary as a label, Bradley Zero's Rhythm Section International are now stepping up for round two, bringing together artists from across the world and across the musical spectrum to showcase the sounds at the core of the imprint: past, present and future. On home turf, contributions come from the likes of James Massiah, Adam Pits and Yushh while across the pond to the West and the East, artists like Kareem Ali, Klein Zage and Soso Tharpa join the line up and, continuing their mutual relationship with Australia, they welcome POOKIE, Liluzu and more to the fold.

Created by producers & DJs Dori Sadovnik & Niv Arzi, Red Axes constantly defies classification while remaining a stalwart of the dance music scene beginning with the launch of “Break It!” an underground psychedelic electronic party series in Tel-Aviv in 2009. Red Axes have helped dancers around the world bridge the intersecting tastes between rock and electronic music, and are known for their dozens of EPs and albums across the last ten years as well as recent outings via Redrago (alongside DJ Tennis).Arriving hot on the heels of their latest EP for Phantasy Sound titled “Some Lights,” their mix for Bolting Bits showcases their singular vision – merging a kaleidoscopic range with driving tempos that demand listeners lean in and participate. In addition, Dori and Niv have been kind enough to answer some questions from the Bolting Bits team to learn more about their selections and how they’re envisioning the future of their long-standing project.

“Dancefloor Memories” is a new compilation, a love letter to the dancefloor, released on the Swiss label Proxima. Its focus is on the epiphanies lived on a dancefloor and translated through 10 tracks + 1 bonus track. 
This compilation is curated by Proxima co-founders Audrey Danza and Nicolas Oggier, also representing Motel Campo. 
The dancefloor, place of expression, of life, but also real catalyst of memories. We measure all that we built there in the sweat, the brushing of bodies, and the music which transported us: a memory. These key moments, absolutely separate, touching ecstasy or epiphany, are the stories told through “Dancefloor Memories”. Drawing their energy from these moments of unprecedented intensity, those tracks have been produced by artists who have delivered their own interpretation of a strong moment on the dancefloor.
10 tracks including a psychedelic, bewitching and undeniably gripping vision (Trent, Eva Geist), a punchy and percussive, kaleidoscopic and colorful celebration of the dancefloor (Powder, Castro), a futuristic and electro-cataclysmic perception (Neu Verboten, Nicola Kazimir), as well as a melancholic journey (BSS, Belia Winnewisser, NVST) and an introspective vision (Epsilove).
In this compilation, we find regulars Cocktail d'Amore DJs, Trent and Powder but also Castro from the Berlin record-store Sound Metaphors, cutting-edge artists from the Swiss underground scene: Neu Verboten, Belia Winnewisser, Nicola Kazimir or NVST, the Paris-based producer Epsilove, Dutch producer and Dekmantel regular BSS (Beesmunt Soundsystem), and the Italian composer, synthesist and sound designer Eva Geist. The bonus track consists of a remix of Neu Verboten's track by Proxima's co-founder and Motel Campo resident dj Audrey Danza.

Bristolian-based producer Remotif has lovingly curated a selection of tunes from some of his favourite producers for Stranger Together, a VA compilation aimed at raising funds for the International Rescue Committee (IRC).
IRC is currently assisting with emergency resettlement for Afghan refugees. Afghanistan is the single country most at risk of deteriorating humanitarian crises in 2022, and 100% of the profits from this release will provide uprooted families with tents, clean water, sanitation and other basic necessities.
This 11 track release taps into a diverse selection of dancefloor tracks from producers across the world, offering everything from uplifting melodic house to dark, psychedelic techno - and everything in between.

VÉRE leads the charge, easing the listener in with a salvo of ethereal pads and breakbeats on Only Just, before passing the baton on to Maara for her dark and trippy roller 282 Going All The Way Up. Dylan Forbes drops shimmering house number Feels Like, which segues nicely into the effervescent uptempo sparkle of Manami’s Sunbeams.

Remotif’s emotive, Final Fantasy-inspired The Golden Shiny Wire of Hope continues this uplifting energy before giving way to DJ Life’s trademark Aussie tech-prog funk with The Barrens. Alphonse’s Still Eye offers a propulsive, skitterish breakbeat workout and Ciel & Roberto switch things up with the bass-heavy machine groove of Deep FM.

Ramu’s Nothing Else To Do adds a dash of hyperkinetic acid and LUXE’s Level Up hits hard with some truly stomach-churning basslines. To round off the compilation, Boulderhead deploys his trademark flavor of lean, wiggy trance-not-trance with Leaf Power Up.

Naarm's groove merchants Birdsnake are crafting a name for themselves as one of the most entrancing acts in the local scene. Here we have 'Well Travelled' from Melbourne's percussive, dubby, electronic funk outfit that is 'Birdsnake.' 'Well travelled' is a down tempo ode to the bush doof. We aimed to capture the feeling of walking through the forest back to the stage for a dance after some down time.
